But to improve our EMI concept still more practically, please share the formula used in excel for calculating the values. It will be more helpful if you add this as one short video.

There is tax levied on EMI by the government. This is ignored in the discussion. This tax component is not negligible. It is significantly high. This burden will be more if you go for short period EMI, especially very high for no cost EMI.

The main idea is to show a break up of interest and principal in EMI. How it varies based on loan period. NO point in calculating manually right. And the online calculators doesnt show the breakup with in the EMI amount and its accrual

Today we have Excel program. Once you master this everything is under your control. Set up formula and drag down as per months, all set up. It is easy to know where your loan EMI stands. Many years back, I happen to visit a Hire purchase Auto loan agency who put flat rate % low interest. Naturally it looks sweet but no fool will agree it is under low interest. When I asked him what is the real interest he it depends but just multiply it by 1.80 to 1.95 you get the real RBM reducing balance method which is the real interest in their books. In Excel you easily float the rate of interest to check it, a small correction will get +/- in the final EMI. Those time we issue post dated cheques. If you go to windup in the middle of term by repaying in one lumpsum then immediately their flat rate will become float rate and demand more principal.

sir,if we consider increasing inflation (rate of increase),the long tenure of EMI will be a profitable ie.comparing the rate of increase in the inflation with the rate of interest of the loan. if the increase in rate of inflation is higher than the rate of interest for the loan ,then comparatively profitable. and Vice versa.

Bankers are too wise than us. They wont allow us to go by less tenure. Even if they accept, the loan amount is reduced drastically. You need money, you have to pay them the price. No other safer way out 😢
