Emigrate is an industrial metal band based in New York City led by German Richard Kruspe, the lead guitarist of the Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein.

As a kid I liked the Elvis version of this song. I'm almost 50 now and I really like this one! Very nicely arranged and Till's - but also Richard's - voice fit very well!

The song might have to do with Till's first wife, who was with Richard after their separation and had a daughter (Khira Li Lindemann) with him. After all this time, the woman is gone and Till and Richard are still not good friends. Richard once said that Rammstein is like a marriage, but without sex.

It has nothing to do with that. Till and Richard are very close friends since 1984. The song was offered to Richard in mid 00s but he kept putting it aside and for years couldn't find the second vocalist that would fit Elvis vibe and at the time he didn't even think of Till until one day, when working on the album, he had "of course it should be Till!" moment.
