You are correct. Ray is one of the very best in the world, and won the Queen Elizabeth Competition. There have been around 20 winners on violin since 1938, and of the 20 about 5 are some of the greatest of all time, and Ray is still quite young.

Nothing like having Ray Chen brighten up an airport lobby with his magical music. He's professional, and his violin makes it even better. I think the violin is worth around $10 Million and up. Stradivarius violins are rare.. and beautiful sounding. I could listen to Ray play all day. but his fingers won't take that. Thank you Emilio for playing Vivaldi's winter and making my day. Ray was the icing on the cake.

What$? One was left in an old museum next to my house when I was a teen. I used to roam freely. When you don't know the value of something... The building was abandoned for a few years after the collector died. I chose a small portrait of John Paul Jones with the quote, “I have not yet begun to fight!” and left the 🎻? Probably worth a fortune? Lots of artwork was left inside when the building was leveled.
