An interesting piece of content that was never shown in the anime that the author wrote is a scene that happens between seasons 1-2 that gives some more context to Sirius's words when she saw Emilia. Sirius found Geuse's corpse that Subaru defeated back in Season 1 and called Regulus through a metia (Their version of a cellphone) and as she cried and screamed, mourning Geuse's death, Regulus told her to shut up and that if he was there he would kill her for annoying him. One of his wives were around and heard him getting angry which made her afraid. When he turned and saw her there he asked "You were afraid weren't you" Then he murdered his wife. Sirius later went and tracked down every single one of Geuse's fingers and killed them all when seeing that it wasn't him.

@@VenReact Unfortunately there's a lot of Re:Zero content that never makes it's way to the anime, one of the biggest examples being what happened with Echidna and the Sanctuary after season 2 ended. That was suppose to be the actual ending to season 2, what Echidna is up to. Yet it ended up being cut content. I won't spoil anything in case they somehow bring it into the anime but it's an example of how much is getting excluded from the anime.

You are on the money with it being Betelgeuse that she’s talking about. Remember that he was obsessed with Satella. And Emilia looks identical to Satella. And Sirius has the same last name as Betelgeuse. So the husband she’s talking about has to be him
