How to take good portrait photos in normal iphones comes without telephoto lense..?
@tylorsmith75802 жыл бұрын
@@athulchandran859 the regular iPhone are best at point and shoot with the 1x. They sacrifice some camera compared to a basic s22 or whatever equal at a really good cost for money, but offer way better cpu gpu speeds battery life etc. if you love the base iPhones but a cheap portrait lens they are like 20 bucks that screw on

This is a good example of what it takes to capture the “right” image. So many people hate to have their picture taken because the result is so often poor. I’m sure that if you take several, and think about composition, the chance of getting something special is much better. If subject is satisfied, they will likely be more willing to have you take their picture!

1-try to go in a darker spot (cloudy day is better than a sunny day) 2-the spot must be separate from your person 3-use a 2xlens (wide angles are not the ideal angle to shoot a portrait ) 4-for portait mode there’s 3 favourite portrait mode (the studio light is one of his favorite ,natural light,and contour light) 5-try to communicate with your subject

Excellent video, thank you very much! I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I love it! Now, one thing that bothers me a lot is that Apple has not included in the native program for photo and video, a very important function than manual color temperature correction, making me always have to depend on what the program offers and not putting the WB in the position I want, especially in sequential shots where the colors change between one shot and another or during a video take. Do you have any idea how I can get around this problem? Thank you very much and a big hug!

Very informative video. could you please answer one question?Can i take a portrait mode photo with 3 objects? Thanks in advance ❤
@iPhone_Photography_School5 ай бұрын
I’m glad you found the video informative. Taking a portrait mode photo with multiple objects can be a bit tricky, but it’s definitely possible! Arrange the three objects in a way that they form a visually appealing composition. Consider their relative sizes and spacing. Ideally, place the main subject (the one you want in focus) in the foreground, with the other two objects behind. Good lighting is crucial. Natural light or soft, diffused artificial light works best. Avoid harsh shadows or bright highlights on any of the objects. Hope these tips help! :)

Thank you for such a great presentation. I am very new to Iphone photography but with years of imaging with DSLR's. I like astronomical imaging and tried my Iphone 14 Pro Max the other night. My issue was the Iphone could not auto focus of a very bright star even though I selected it. Is there any way to force the focus to infinity at night when no distant objects are available?

We recommend tapping and holding your focus point to lock it. If your device is having issues focusing on your subject, try tapping on anything close to it and try again :)

@@iPhone_Photography_School TU very much for the reply. I have tried these suggestions but no-go 😞 First of all this is at night with no objects bright enough for the camera to be able to focus on. I live out in the country trying to shoot star fields etc. 2nd, when I tap on a very bright star to lock it in it is not bright enough to focus......so while it locks it in it is out of focus. Such a wonderful camera but apparently no way to manually lock into infinity focus. TU again !

I tried using Portrait mode to take a selfie the other day. I wanted to capture a half-body shot with a blurred background because the building behind us wasn’t very appealing. But as soon as I stepped back just 4-5 cm, the blur effect disappeared. The feature only seems to work when I'm super close to the camera lens. How can I make it work? You mentioned something about the distance between the object and the background in your tutorial-could that be the reason? The building behind me is about 5-10 meters away, Thanks for your advice.

You'd have to readjust your distance and make sure that the yellow box around your face is lit up which indicates that Portrait mode is active.

@@iPhone_Photography_School I have to readjust the distance between me and the camera? or between me and the building behind me? It seems as soon as I backed away further from the camera, blurry feature disappeared Sorry just saw your reply. Thank you so much!

I always have trouble in moving objects. Like the hair that was moving when i try to capture similar photos it comes out blurry and not good. How can i improve on that??
@iPhone_Photography_School2 жыл бұрын
Clean your lens. Make sure you are holding the phone tight and avoid camera shake. Also, check that your subject is well-illuminated to avoid slow shutter speeds. :)
