Emily’s line “some hideous skirt convention” is probably the best line ever in the film and any film. The accent and how she says it is just chefs kiss. Seeing these two just reminiscing about one of the best movies ever is just everything. Anne Hathaway is my queen always and forevermore.

the way their compliments were so concise and insightful - and how genuinely touched both were when the other picked up on the deliberate, conscious, intentional acting choices and interpretation of their respective characters - made this so endearing to watch. like it's always great to hear compliments but when they talked about character portrayal and their interpretation / analysis you can really see them light up, delighted that their intentions came through in their acting. recognition and acknowledgement, especially from another fellow actor, who perhaps is in the best position to do so and appreciate it. that's such a joy.

It was IMPOSSIBLE just to listen to them as a "podcast" thing... you HAVE to see their faces while they share all these memories and experiences. My favorite thing has to be Anne hiding her face behind the cards, she is so adorable. And that amazing memory of Emily, she nails even the intonations of each scene. The production team did an OUTSTANDING job with giving them the space for them to share things that are clearly precious moments. Man what a lovely friendship and what a joy was to watch this video.

I've only seen a few of these "Actors on Actors" chats, and they've all been great. Emily and Anne are a joy to, essentially, eavesdrop on. Their love of their craft and deep friendship is great to experience.

They absolutely ATE with this pairing...I mean look at the way they're talking, it just shows how much passion they have in the work they do and if you focus on the kind of vocabulary that they both use, words like 'mercurial, squandered, meteoric, voracious' you just know that they are both very well-read women and it's really coming from within!

Loved these two ever since The Devil Wears Prada. Emily Blunt was my dream choice to play Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, never really imagined Anne Hathaway in the role but was surprised and really happy with her performance. Emily got her chance to play an awesome action heroine in Edge Of Tomorrow and finally work with Christopher Nolan. I hope Emily finally gets an Oscar nomination, she's been snubbed too many times, that interrogation scene in Oppenheimer may seal that deal for her.

Variety - as a fan of this series - this is one of the Best Actors on Actors ever. We saw respect not only to / for each other but to their craft as well. This was topped by both warmth and humour. The End Section not only gave a french kiss of an ending but also the sharing of great memories both for them and for us watching.

You can find many of those online, there are many great female directors out there that actors praise - Kathryn Bigelow one example. Not that it matters, a great director is a great director, doesn't matter if their male or female.

@@GreenFalcon926it shouldn’t matter, but the fact that only two women won the academy award for best director (and only seven were nominated) makes it matter. the first time two were nominated in the same year was 2021, almost a hundred years after the first academy awards ceremony. yeah, it matters.
