I had to listen to chapter 13 twice to catch everything. A shame for an important chapter. I don’t think she took a breath. It sounded like she was trying to beat Seabiscuit to the finish line.

Have not tried it yet - but might 'syncopate' by reading the online source for any chapters that seem to have problems.

While I appreciate people devoting their time and effort to volunteer to read these books, I had to give up at chapter 5. I couldn't understand her. : / I guess I'll never know how this little series ends, haha. Wasn't that great anyway - not like Anne of Green Gables.
