Love your content and the fact that you are so vulnerable to share your stories to help people. About 17 yrs. ago a family member of mine was thinking of placing their tween child in a program similar to the one you were sent to and something was telling my family member that it wasn't the safe and right choice. They decided not to send their child there and years later the program was in the news for some of their abusive practices. Also, great choice not letting the guy stop by your place after the concert. Many men do this because they don't want to spend money take the woman out and/or they will think if they stop by they will get access easily to intimate relations. A few male friends of mine told me many men will hang out with one woman on Valentine's Day and then a different one the day after because they have a rotation women.

Everytime I hear about someone who's unhappy in a situation with another person (romantically) I think about how there's someone out there that's meant for them and they'd do anything to have that time with them. I was talking to a guy sometime ago and he seemed really mature and a good guy and we talked on the phone quite a bit. One night he said he didn’t want to chat with me on the phone and he wanted to go out with friends I was super chill about it not a big deal… Then I didn’t hear from him for days and then he said he got arrested that night for a DUI and I was like bruh am done…! As a 29 yr old woman who lives in LA, and seeing the quality of men that come from different states in the U.S., I have made a promise to myself to not date LA men, anymore. Theres better quality men in other states (but a lot of these better quality men are also church men). One thing I've noticed is that saying "I want.." "I need.." "can you..." to men is such a game changer, too. If they follow through with what I brought up to them, means I will keep them around. If they dont, I kick them to the curb and i will make it known to them why even if i sound mean. I've also decided to keep a lot of men in the friend and brother box so i can get more things done. Of course i tell them that's what box they are in, and they are ok with it. I just see it more beneficial at this point to have an army of men in my life for long term as friends and brothers Cuz it helps me with my wants and goals more instead of relying on one man in a romantic relationship that disappoints me constantly and on top of doesnt really help me get things done the way an army of men can.

I've heard that dating in LA is bad. I don't have experience with it here in Vegas, but imagine it's also crap bc you have to be careful just making friends here! This shouldn't be controversial, but I don't think you should date when you're broke, get your life together, first. Even for the hypergamy adjacent people who are vetting for wealthy providers, bc what if the man flakes or bails out on you or what if you get stuck in an uncomfortable situation? Oh, he totally had Valentine's Day plans, it may have involved taking you to the concert if his other date didn't come, but either way - he was going to your place for sex after! I also silently stack lists of offenses. I look for patterns within them and eventually might blow up & bring up an extensive list of examples going back so far! I've been bitched at for "bringing up the past," (but for a cluster B personality disorder chick, even yesterday is the past!) for holding grudges, and also for talking to other people but not the person themselves about shit that bothers me.
