This resonated in my soul. I used to hate humanity and this world in general so much until I realized it was the people I had surrounded myself with. Yes there are a lot of awful people in life, but there are some well intentioned people too who actually do care.

bro the webstie literally says "for kids that socially awkward" as one of the kinds of kids that this school would be good for- WHAT - I literally cant even believe that.

You’re saying it correctly, it’s French like petit theft. I think it’s so sweet that remember you had some kind moments from the staff and it made you emotional. There’s nothing wrong with being emotional on social media if it’s spontaneous you didn’t set up your camera to capture yourself crying for sympathy and views. Whoever put this place together needs to be prosecuted as well as the staff who were mistreating girls.

I honestly don't know how you made it out of there without anything but rage. All the people that put you in there and 'taught' you in there, are the ones that need that kind of control and punishment. Not you guys, the innocent kids. Ugh. BTW...you are SO strong! Be proud of yourself.

I been working on not dissociating and that has turned me into a crying baby 😅 some crying is good girl! Allowing yourself to feel sympathy and show your emotions for others is very healthy and significant sign of progress for people like us! Good job! Keep work hard! And never be embarrassed or cringy about your true feelings ❤❤ on second thought, I been using Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate leave in conditioner and my hair has no slip ends! I stared using in March that I got a balyage done and my stylist recommended it along with the pre shampoo treatment that I do every 2 weeks or so. Life saver 🙌 I don't think I could bleach my hair without it!

Just started and the blonde is gorgeous. You look lovely in both blonde and brunette shades. I don’t know if that’s common and it’s probably due to your natural color palette 🎨 Edit: have you ever read Born a Crime? Trevor Noah articulates what’s so difficult about caring for people who hurt you and the contradictions you live with for the rest of your life. For me, it can get to the point where I’m compassionate enough not to want to hold people accountable for awful things. Villains can be victims too; some are way worse than others. The person in my life that should be in jail for what they did to my family had a tragic life and did their best to succeed. But…they were born dark and crooked and enjoy seeing people in pain. I hope one day I’ll sort it out, and I empathize with the confusion.

I could be terribly wrong but let me know. I feel like Prufrock preparatory school in the Netflix series “A Series of Unfortunate Events” is kinda like the school for troubled girls. They both have bad staff, cruel and unusual punishments, no education. Of course there are a lot of differences but I thought they were a little similar.

Oh wow there’s a thrift store here in Pensacola called teen challenge and I know they support some religious organizations or the thrift store exists to support the religious organizations I wonder if it’s the same organization. It’s a thrift store selling teen clothes. It always gave me weird vibes like who’s donating so specifically to a teen girl store?

Few things. Girl, feel those emotions. Give yourself permission to acknowledge them even if it means screaming and crying. I’m with you though…it is cringe to see on camera. I get pre-period week emotional. The dumbest things trigger me to cry. It’s a thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I LOVE this look! Had to hit pause, rifle through my makeup and find my blues/greens/teals. SUCCESS! I know my Barbie movie makeup look now 🤗 I need your shelf unit. The pull out/down shelving is magical. Your hair is GOALS! My stylist gives me the same look. I love my partial bleach blonde look. My hair is flat AF but that definition and layers make it look like it has volume. Go forth into the world and live your truth. 🩵

more of a small nitpick, but as an autistic person i have to correct the fact that autism isn’t on a linear graph of more or less severe, especially as stuff like presentation of symptoms and masking can be a factor in how other people perceive autism. Either way, bullying an autistic kid is horrific

How do you get away from that cuz sometimes it seems like you go from one controlling place to another. Lovely hair. Well, it’s understandable that you’re emotional about the one non robot staffer there. Even if someone has very different beliefs who still cares about you, they’re still gonna have a soft place in your heart. Re the girl who went missing, is she really missing or just cut everyone off and disappeared? A lot of these people sound very damaged who were drunk on the crumb of power they had over you all… pathetic
