I have sooo many questions about this trial... How can Chris Albert remember EXACTLY what John O'Keefe was wearing that night but not what he, himself was wearing?? And how is it that Chris and his wife remember the EXACT same details about some things but not others? Did they watch prior testimony? Chris said Karen took her glass from the first bar and drank out of it for the rest of the night at the 2nd bar. So she never ordered another drink? Did she just like their glasses or is it a convenient detail about the glass that was found? Why have 3 witnesses for the state been caught in lies on the stand?? Why lie if you have nothing to hide? Why did Brian Albert sell the home he had lived in all of his life, rehome his dog, and retire after John O'Keefe's death?? If JO lost 3 liters of blood, where is the rest of it?? It wasn't at the scene and it wasn't in their red solo cups. Where is JO's hat, shoe, and phone??? Why are all the prosecution's witnesses so sus??? Why do they try to downplay their friendships and how close they are to each other? That shouldn't be happening, just tell the truth. There are so many more but those are just today's questions.

I still consider it possible (albiet not remotely likely) that KR hit him, because (if I recall the prosecution opening correctly, which I might not) there will be expert evidence that tends to prove it, along with the tail light pieces. If that evidence is _extremely_ strong and the defense underdelivers on their opening in countering it, prosecution wins. We've been through the witnesses at the bar, including the bartender and been shown a receipt for $16... where is the video of her drinking 9 drinks with receipt proof?? When the prosecution asks when Colin came home after Chris did, Chris says within 10 minutes very directly and quickly (45:10) and when the defense asks the same question, he estimates 15 minutes (1:47:44) and then says he was still asleep when Colin opened the door in which case how would he know it even happened and finally he doesn't seem to remember anything after being so certain during the prosecution's questions. The timing is very critical because it determines whether or not Colin would've seen the body on the lawn when leaving the house. I also wonder if the defense has more on the keep off my lawn stuff or whether they'll give up on that knowing the witnesses will stonewall.

Replay crew again. This trial is making my brain smooth. Why does every single witness act like answering a question about who they're friends with is going to get them executed? Why is the Commonwealth objecting to "how long have you known xyz?" and "what time did your son wake you?" Why are they so afraid of the timeline? With comprehensive order at all, really? At the end of every court day I ask myself two questions: What the hell is even this trial? Is there going to be a prosecution or are we just going to get a defense twice? I still do not understand why the Commonwealth brought this to court. Today I hit my limit with the judge, too.

The way the judge allows law enforcement officials and their family members to answer "sure" without correction, the prosecution witnesses are so snappy with the defense attorney and suddenly become SUPER FORGETFUL and straight up lie on the stand, and how quick the prosecutor is to object and judge is to sustain, even though that's appropriate, really lends to the idea of a "conspiracy/convenient outsider."
@delta32447 ай бұрын
I like that the judge is stricly enforcing the idea that the jury shouldn't hear _any_ argument over objections because that argument can be prejudicial, but in this particular case, the lack of argument might well be having a greater prejudicial effect.

Not that different of weather since I'm on 45th parallel and Boston area is 42nd. It wasn't a shut down the entire town type of blizzard where you're shoveling just to open your door. Some high drifts and low Temps and high wind is dangerous. But to not see a body in the yard you'd have to have accumulation of at least 15 or more inches because the snow gets blown
