I’ve survived two lots of cancer ( colon and cervical) but I was twice Emily’s age when I was first diagnosed. I watch this feeling so angry that she is gone but in her honour, am going to remember every day how blessed I am to still be here. What an extraordinary coupe they were.

I had been with my partner for 20 years and we got got married the day before I went into major surgery to remove a large malignant tumor attached to my stomach. Love is beautiful.
