Juilliard does not have a musical theatre program, there are other institutions that offer better programs and degrees for this area, but they are also quite expensive. To make it on broadway, or in professional musical theater somewhere else, studying musical theater does help, but is not really really “necessary”.

What the hell. I was on a cover of you twenty minutes ago, that was like two years ago, and I thought "great voices, but need practice though" and I must admit I was kinda "meh". It takes a lot to impress me. There are so many good singers out there who perform well, but the reality is, they aren't star quality. Emily is one to watch and I hope she puts in the hard work to get to the World Championships of Performing Arts because she is amazing and will go places. I'm so finnicky when it comes to liking musical theater songs, and i generally don't like covers at all and sometimes don't even like the original version- but this cover is incredible. I would go as far as saying this is a masterpiece. You belong on Broadway, for sure. Your way of expressing emotion is beautiful, i was so touched that I teared up. That and your vibrato and the quality of your voice all came together and made this absolutely the best cover of a musical theater song I have ever heard, and again I am very picky when it comes to that! This is so so beautiful. I will definitely be listening to this cover many more times and recommending it to others!
