Bubbles work better if you do a layer of topcoat or base on top of the color and add bubbles on top of that. This way you don't have to worry about messing up the color underneath. I find that using regular dishe soap works best. I love the eyeshadow design and hearts 💕

Naio Nails did a video a long time ago about Dragon Nails with a similar bubble technique - she made a mixture that had some cuticle oil in it which helped make bigger bubbles. It was a mix of soap, oil, and water I believe.

Ok I know I’m “double texting” here- but I’m actually a FLOCKaholic and use it on my nails a LOT! (I make puppy paw nails with blobby hard gel as the paw pads/toe-beans and use flocking as the fur around the pads -and they’re one of my favorite designs to do…obviously lol). I rarely buy “flocking powder” because it’s expensive and hard to find (especially in crazy colors)-so I go to the craft shops and find fun types/colors of yarn and turn it into flocking. I used to just snip it by hand into a tiny dish (then keep it in sealed containers like they sell it in)…but I have a dedicated coffee grinder for crafting now, so I just use that. 😂 It’s definitely worth the little bit of extra effort, because they make every kind of yarn you can imagine, which means I have glitter flocking, glowing flocking, neon flocking, textured flocking etc. It seems like it would feel weird wet, or be unhygienic to have fuzzy nails (or that it would come right off) -but nope to all! They wash normally, dry quickly and I’ve never had it chip off even when I’m going at it with my nail scrubbers many times a day. ❤

So i know people may come for me here but I've dun say french nails b4 laying the acrylic only using clear acrylic for the nail bed if the client wants a high smile line. Then buff that smooth paint the french and build the nail with clear acrylic. The end result looks more like the french was dun with acrylic. It DOESN'T yellow, chip or peel this way.

If u want bigger bubbles then put a drop or 2 of dish soap (thick (good soap)) and fluff the water and get u sum bigger bubbles. Also i think u went to close with the magnet. It looks like they wanted the magnet in the center but it isn't. They just go close to the gel to activate the magnets not to really move them to the center.

In order to make the bubbles deeper and the design mor evident, you need to mix the soap with water! By doing so you have enough thickness to file it down and reveal the bubbly texure underneath (basically the same principle as the heart shaped acrylic stampers in the first hack)

I've made simple shapes with paper clips. They didn't look great but they didn't look horrible either lol Dish soap makes nice big bubbles. Especially if u blow in the straw n2 the water. Then put the bubbles n2 topcoat 😉 With the flocking powder... If u would've painted the hearts, not cured n grabbed a clump of the flocking with tweezers n dropped it on the hearts, cured n brushed off the excess. The would've felt like a sweater. How they feel depends on how it's applied 😘

Omg I think many people would feel very uncomfortable looking at the bubble nail texture. (The people that have issues with clusters of holes.) 🕳️ 🕳️ 🕳️

they all are so pretty and you do the best work that i can describe, but my skin is itching bcuz that fluff looks like insulation, its not your fault by any means, its me and my weird skin, but i did watch til the end while holding a tissue, that seemed to help

Wow, the bubble one came out so cool! And you’re right it’s good to try doing things all different ways. I sculpt and paint etc and I learn more by experimenting and making mistakes I’ll just start out not knowing what I’m gonna make, mix up custom colors then just make it up as I go, and I find so many different techniques and ideas along the way

I love the stamps! The more I watch you, not only can I now do my own acrylic nails, (saving $70 a month. Don't get me wrong, I love my nail gal, but I'm a broke btch.) But I can see using things you can find at the $1 Store.

Square nails are my favourite cause of Bhad Bhabie. I’m her #1 fan. Lmao. I was in her top 00.01% on Spotify. Twice.
