I would love a beach set with that last technique. It looks just like the ocean scenes resin artists make. Turquoise on the tip, tan toward the cuticle, and wispy white between! So cool! Also I actually did like the crackle rainbow nail a lot. Always love a good neon color scheme!
@trex_inspace2 жыл бұрын
that moonstone nail is actually really cool! also the geode, can't go wrong with crystals on your nails! nice job!
@pikapika29032 жыл бұрын
i’ve done the moonstone nail before and i think the best way to do it is to use a tip and not do the initial layer of clear. i instead directly put a blob of clear gel and flattened it with the plastic and then encapsulated it to build the nail. hope this helps anyone trying to recreate them!
@chrissit72022 жыл бұрын
I just did the crackle nails on my daughter a few days ago and I think the reason yours didn’t crackle as much is because you need to bend the stamper tool (so it’s kinda in the shape of taco) while pressing against you nail. Bending it like that is what keeps the cracks pulled apart while stamping it on
@lagle82 жыл бұрын
also acrylic dries fairly soft. something like gouache cracks much more easily

With the airbrush nail, I would do each color individually & cure in between. I feel like you can control it better & the colors would pop because they aren't mixing. I love the concept! That's definitely one I'm gonna try
@d.on.in.a2 жыл бұрын
The poin of that technique is to get the colors to marble together so curing them in between wouldn't give that same effect.

Hey Hun, on the crackle nail when you lay the stamper down kinda squeeze in on the stamper while you apply. That will give you a better affect. I still loved your nails. You do awesome nail art. TFS and have a wonderful day 😊

I love when you post. Your nail videos are always so inspiring, and I appreciate your aesthetic. Love your makeup and hair today. Pink is deffinitly your color and suits you beautifully. The geode nail design is my favorite! I'd love to see a full set of pink geode on you, or maybe even peachy geode color. With the crackle rainbow I would suggest pinching the applicator and pushing in the back of it at the same time. Creating a globe like effect so the paint can separate. Hope this helps. 🤗💗 stay awesome!!

So for the crackle nail, I believe they used a cheap acrylic from the dollar store, it's a lot thinner and more matte. It also tends to crack better. They reason I'm saying that is because I paint with acrylic normally and the white you used is a semi gloss paint one and tends to take a much longer time drying. I use that white a lot of when I need a thicker paint and I use the cheaper dollar store ones for when I just want to lay down colour or prime my canvas. Anyway, the nails look really cool and thank you for all the awesome videos 💖💖💖

When it comes to the airbrush design or blowing the gel on the nail, it actually works a lot better if you go at it from an angle and not hit it from like directly on top it kinda helps to like push it along instead of like smash it down if that makes sense.

For the 2nd nail, u should try a little thinner of acrylic paint and then bend the jelly stamper the opposite direction like they did in video. U bent it from edges inward, try bending from edges downward...that will help the paint crack more. Just a thought!

Hey Emily! Kirsty Meakin started that crackle nail trend in one of her videos last year I think. You should look it up she has the whole process in her video, it was just an experiment but she made it work. I think it's a gel paint she used then cured it over the pigments, just like you did with the acrylic paint but with gel paint. Then she put a base coat down on her nails and cured it, not wiping the sticky part off. Then she stuck the stamper to the base coated nails and the crackle design stuck to it.
