Hi! Soooo I heard the oil water removal came from the press on groups and now people are assuming you can remove actual nails with it 😅 The French tip hack works really good I recently tried it, I believe you could still do it with that length of nail.. the trick is to slide your nail across the stamper instead of pushing it into the silicone.

Worked for me with polygel and press ons that were a day old. Took 45 mins to come off. Same method just different supplies needed: Hot water (as hot as you can handle microwave every 15 mins) Body wash instead of dish soap Cooking oil (I used coconut oil) Cuticle oil to apply on top of nail bed or cuticles Cuticle pusher or something to help with lifting around nail bed. Check every 15 and use tool to help separate the product stop when you feel any pain and continue to soak I had no damage to my natural nails and I am able to re use my press ons I was also able to take off most of the polygel still intact.

I’m an elementary school teacher and I recommend trying the punch stamps again but with a thinner layer instead. I suspect the thicker layer is more brittle and makes it more likely to snap than flex if the puncher was built a little uneven. I’m just guessing tho! Also, I’d brittle-ness does matter, maybe the texture of the polish matters?? Like matte vs. jelly vs. pearl?

The French tip cutter has been around forever. I know so many salons that use them for when you ask for “pink and whites”. Whenever I asked for that “service” they’d all use that tool, except for one place I went to (the tech did it free hand). So… It always cracks me up when TikTok people act like they are finding something new. I don’t mean that in a condescending way. Just slightly humorous.

Maybe it’s my doctor brain but that’s so scary! Pulling off nails damages your mail plates! Once they are damaged it will NEVER grow back the same again if you do this often. I’ve had a girl in the ER that got a bad nail infection from doing this she ripped her nail off in layers and bacteria was able to make it in the cracks and got infected. I know it’s frustrating but please just soak them off properly ladies!
@TwoBees_or_Not_TwoBees2 жыл бұрын
I know this was like a year ago but O wanted to know if I can drill them with a nail drill, I want to keep my partner's nails safe
@Justaperson354 Жыл бұрын
@@TwoBees_or_Not_TwoBees yes you can file them, but be careful once the product gets thin. When it’s thin soak it in acetone. Once the nails are off give an oil manicure, you can soak the freshly cleaned nails in jojoba oil and it will dehydrate the nail and skin. When ready for the new set just follow normal procedures you usually do! But with the drill practice with a raw egg first as that will teach you pressure sensitivity. Also move the drill lightly and constantly as it will generate heat. It’s very sweet that you care so much! Just remember to be gentle

ALSO this is my little hack for re-rolling nail foils! I grab a thick-ish pen like a sharpie (i use a mildliner highlighter, i like it because it is the same width throughout the entire length of the pen) with a cap that has those clips on the lid. I wrap the foil at the beginning UNDER the clip (this helps hold the foil in place) and then roll the foil around the pen lid OVER the clip but not too tight. When im done rolling the foil I loosen the slack up just enough to remove the foil from the grip of the pen and then I slowly put it back into the nail foil box ! It has a little bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it saves you a lot of time and headaches !
