Not an Avant, RS3 Sportback - which I have. Much prefer the looks to the Sedan. Got mine after a 2 year wait, tango red, full carbon, black optics, ceramic brakes, 180mph limited.

Two things I really miss from the last gen (8V) A3. Convertible and heated steering wheel. I can understand why they stop making the convertible (development costs and all) but why not a heated steering wheel? If you have any info to share, that would be great or tell Audi that people (not just me) wants that feature. :) Love your video, so in depth. Keep up the good work.

Für kleingewachsen Personen (für Kinder 😂😂😂 ein schönes Spielzeug) dann lieber eine Klasse hören zugreifen, aber das ist nur meine Meinung und jeder soll sich sein passendes Autos aussuchen und zusammen stellen. Wer so glücklich ist und einen sein eigenes nennen kann, sollte ihn behalten und behandeln wie Goldstaub. Für den Alltag ein zweiten Audi kaufen so dass für jedes Bein ein Auto zu Verfügung steht.😂😂 Ich habe Mal zu mein Freund im Autohaus gesagt für jeden Ring einen und für quattro das ganze mal vier, wenn man den Platz hat. @@luciussander8217 Well, i haven't seen one in the uk, i saw one in Germany, in the showroom they have next to the museum, it had open vents, there are even videos released by audi showing the airflow going through those vents.I also know that when the car was launched in the uk, there was a journalist from a uk magazine, forgot which one (evo, autoexpress, autocar etc.), and he was complaining that when it rained, the air would push the dirty water through those vents, getting the whole side of the car dirty.It seems that for some reason, the newer cars, in some countries, they have those vents blocked off. PS: Stop being disrespectful, the world doesn't revolve around the uk🤣 (uk is not even in the european union anymore, maybe that too, has something to do with it, probably not), anyway, don't snap at me🤣, take care.

If they’re still offering these in 2025 I might buy one, despite the fake vents that I abhor. It’s also disappointing that they don’t offer the central round tach with MPH and gear position in the middle as a dash option. They have that layout in the S4, so the code is already mostly written.

​@@emilytheaudinerd ja nicht alle Marken aus dem VW Konzern sind überall zu haben, es war zum Beispiel mit Opel als sie noch zu GM Konzern gehört habe so dass sie nicht in den USA verkaufen durften, das war nicht gewollt um eigene Fahrzeuge besser verkaufen zu können was am Ende aber auch zur Pleite und zum Verkauf von Opel an den französischen Stelantes Konzern geführt hat. Ich weiß jetzt allerdings nicht ob es dennoch möglich wäre Skoda in die USA zu importieren. Was ich sagen kann dass der neue Skoda Superb sehr gut aussieht und sehr groß wie auch der neue VW Passat, beide basieren auf der gleichen Plattform und werden beide im gleichen werk in Tschechien gebaut. 1,92m lang knapp unter mein A6. Auch wenn beide gut aussehen bleibe ich Audi treu und dass seit 28 Jahren.😏🖐🏻😎🫶🏻

6:12 I have the order guide for the 2024 RS3 and unless they updated it since release you can get black optics w/o the roof but not the black roof w/o black optics. Don’t mean to be a know it all but I spend 3 model years waiting for mine so have I all the order guides from the original 22 all the way to the early 24. Haha. Nice video

I have a RS3 8Y sportback. I'm in the UK, so we get a different spec. Mine has the flat bottom steering wheel, I really don't like that round one. My car has full carbon pack, that's side skirts, large rear spoiler, wing mirrors and engine cover. I have the RS pack as well, so sports exhaust, ceramic brakes, 180mph limited, etc. We don't get the interior colour upgrade, so I got the parts for the vents, RS mats, etc. from Germany and fitted myself. Mine's tango red... had it 9 months. All good, except - the B&O is awful and I mean, awful. Quite a few cheap plastics used on the interior - my car has had some rattles that needed fixing. The drive select is glitchy and despite Audi promises, no software update yet to fix it. Car is quite quiet, but is getting louder now, with the odd crackle and pop from the exhaust. Oh and the demist on the car is pathetic. Can take up to ten minutes to clear the front screen. Cheap parts again I suspect. Still, despite gripes, it's super fast and I had it checked on a rolling road, mine has 438bhp, not 400. I kinda knew Audi were under playing its power...

@@emilytheaudinerd We still don't get all the toys. UK market was not offered the RS interior styling upgrade, which alienated a lot of customers. Also, several other options weren't offered, like the all round parking cameras and auto tail gate. Both options I couldn't get on my RS3 sportback, although I did get ceramic brakes and all the exterior carbon bits. Only the EU market get to have it all. Also, the limited run RS3 Performance wasn't offered to the UK, which again, beggars belief, given the UK is a big market for Audi. Most of us here think Audi UK hate their customers, they make very strange decisions on the options we can have on our cars or rather, not have. I've been looking at getting a new RS4 next and it was unreal how many options I could not have on a UK car, yet in Germany or France, every box could be ticked.

I have to politely disagree big time on the exhaust. Maybe it can flow up to 1000 hp, but the sport exhaust is pretty quiet, and the AWE exhaust keeps the valves and sounds 10x better, esp if you add the mid pipes for $300. Great review though!

I assure you, the 8Y can drift. Check out Iroz's videos of his tango red one. As I mentioned in this video...this is a customer's car so we did not test out this feature since it is not our car. Hopefully we will have a video in the future of us testing out that feature

I would check the used market....many dealers are still charging over MSRP. So much so that magazines are still writing articles about them

No you won't. There aren't many about and dealers are charging premiums on them. Mine was £60k and I was offered £65k by a dealer to take it off me, which I declined. Depreciation is really low. Here in the UK, a one year old RS3 sportback, with a good spec and low miles is not far off the original price. They really hold their value well.
