Dr. Dre had vision. The fact that he wanted to bridge the hip hop world into more than just where young black men come from and understanding that all sorts of people struggle no matter their color is almost as influential as the classic civil rights speakers of the past. Knowing music is the ultimate cure for hate is just genius to me. Plus the Dre and Eminem clicking like they did was amazing. You can hear Eminem all over that 2001 album. Not just his voice, but his style and lyrics and creativity

That really touched me. Hip Hop is not a genre where that’s often done wholeheartedly. Snoop has really evolved a lot as a person and continues to show he’s serious about always being the best person he can with good vibes. Same can be said for Em. It’s no walk in the park battling substance abuse and confronting your demons especially in the spotlight as an odd one out. We’re lucky as hell to have them both. And we can thank Dre for believing them to bring them out to us.
