I don’t want to be a hater but also if you’re in the reaction scene or watch a lot of the videos then hearing this track now that it has been out for awhile gives you a great advantage because you can catch every single bar. But in fairness I’m sure this guy (who seems like a nice guy) has never claimed to be figuring all of this out himself. Although he’s making it seem like he’s instantly understanding all of it for the video.

I think most people miss the importance of the house of horror line. Em says "In my house of horrors, with a thousand floors", there was basically a serial killer who made a hotel with many floors and maze like structure with no exits. So any guest that stayed at that hotel never really made it out and got stuck, and the guy murdered them *by the hundred*. Which I think fit perfectly with the theme of this album.

Beginning of the song they said orange pills and taking off layers like orange peels. Referencing sex, and birth control. @RyanHardy I would just like to add that I have from time caught the next word or two when listening to a song for the 1st time. If you are well versed in that genre as well as with a particular band/singer/rapper/etc and have listened to the lyrics up to that point it's almost a no brainer what comes next. Also, every time I've seen Knox sing a word or two it's after he's heard it, talked about it, and is restarting the song a few seconds back or is singing along with part of the chorus towards the end of the song. Not saying he's perfect or doesn't research ahead of time or listen to the song beforehand but I also think you were a little harsh. Just my 2 cents.

The inspect the deck line is a triple. Inspect the deck (outside), Inspect the Deck (WTC), Inspect the deck - the cassette deck. I'm old - actually the same age as Em - so I always catch the crazy old pop culture references, and whenever there's a shout out to 80s rap/hip-hop, I always end up digging through my iTunes for BDK or LL or Black Star or something trippy like Ultramagnetic MCs. Every new Em album is like a time machine - into the future and the past.

Wario Andretti I know he’s not saying Colin, i’m saying it’s wordplay because you can also hear it as Colin. similar to when Eminem said “can it load a gun for you and cock it too?” in Sing For The Moment. because he uses word inflection to make it sound like “Cockatoo” since he’s saying kids mimic the lines in their songs, like parrots.

@@KnoxHill Nick has been white his whole career. It wasn't until Blank Panther came out that he decided to try out the black thing and randomly out of nowhere he turned into Capt. Protect Our Queens. I'm all for that if your gonna actually do so, but when he brought out thai dumb ass track Em did, which it was dumb as hell hah but he said he dont care how long ago it was, he couldn't let Em slide. I wonder if He asked, yet he does a song about smashing as many girls as possible and he put Mr. Pee on your underaged daughter on that song. Lol

I love how you break down the artists verses so people can see how clever these flows are, I love the from start of Eminem’s bars when he references 2 pac and Biggie,,, .... at the start he says ‘this will probably be the illest shit I’ve ever said ‘ , I love the Biggie reference to the track called the Illest (feat 2pac and Big L) , along with the 2pac track reference,,, bro keep up this awesome channel, great content

This probably isn’t his 1st time hearing the song. I’d guess he listens to the songs, figures out all the punch lines then films his “reaction”.

Man I didn’t think anyone could catch more bars than scriptwork but you and them are THE BEST reaction channels for actual bar breakdowns, keep it up really appreciate the work very entertaining. Please do Unaccommodating, Yah Yah, Little Engine, Lock it Up. And go back to Kamikaze and dissect some of those, just as impressive as this album honestly. ✌️

Appreciate that! Thanks for the recommendations, I think all four of those will be on my list and what I work through next honestly. After that I think you’re right, it’s Kamikaze time 🔥🔥
