Listen Knox, I’ve listened to so many people break down lyrics and they all do a good job. But you break these down to literal atoms. You need to know a lot about to culture of hip hop and just general life to catch a lot of these lyrics, and to piece them together is an amazing feat. I can smell insane talent from you and I hope you continue to grow as a content creator, artist and person man. So much more I want to say but I need to save these fingers for Quarantine homework. Keep doing your thing man, I’m subbing right now.

Well said @Greg Guluzian. I bought the album and fell in love with it, but then I discovered Knox and his breakdowns and oh man, I had no idea how deep the lyrics were. I'm so glad that I can now fully appreciate the depths of each song and understand what he is actually talking about. Man Knox, thank you so much for your work and your pure emotions, knowledge, and honesty. I'm also looking forward to hearing more of your original tracks. Be safe, much love x.

I sincerely believe that Music To Be Murdered By is a masterpiece. We are experiencing firsthand Eminem/Slim Shady's evolution as an amazing lyrical choreographer. Knox Hill..bro.. you've definitely been putting the cherry on top of these songs. You catch things that no one else does and you feel the song. I appreciate you so much for that, man. You gives these bars their intended understanding. Thank you. Also, you only got No Regrets left. That song is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and emotional. Great stuff as always, and looking forward VERY MUCH to that reaction.

Quentin Verra if you want to really appreciate the masterful and meticulous detail that Eminem puts into his craft, you need to look up the rhyme scheme lyric videos...it shows the words and syllables that rhyme in different colors, i recommend Eminem - Stay Wide Awake or Yelawolf ft. Eminem - Best Friend as the first one you should look up...like everything in those songs rhyme lol it’s INSANE and mindbogglingly incredible to see how close to perfect he truly is...Best Friend is as close to a perfect verse as i’ve ever heard..I hope this helps you appreciate him more as well! stay safe🙃

I don’t think it was a Macklemore diss but more of a defense statement. I believe someone high up asked why he can’t be like Macklemore like he mentioned in the Chloraseptic remix, meaning his lyrics are much cleaner than Eminem’s. He’s defending himself saying Macklemore’s childhood reflects his lyrics while Eminem’s much rougher childhood reflects his. Eminem has said in interviews that Macklemore’s music is dope.

“Let em all line up in the tack, single filing up in the stack, call em toy soldiers...” is also a triple, relating to combat. A tac, or a tactical center where you form up before patrol. Single file up in the stack, before breaching a door you line up single file in what is commonly called a stack. And then the comparison line on TOY soldiers, that makes it focus to being a kid.

I watched old interview that Andersson did with him when he came back after that od to big stages. Andersson asked from him if he would want to meet his dad after all this time. He ended up saying no, because he didn't understand how he could walk out from his life like he did. If his own daughers would disappear he would go to the end of the world to find them so he doesn't really see any excuses for not doing that. I can understand where he comes from quite a lot since while I had my dad around, emotionally he walked out from my life pretty early so this song hit me also quite hard. (And it sucks especially when you have to younger siblings that are in different postion when it comes to him) It is though one of my favourites from the album. Thank you for doing this. I had waited you to do this so thumbs up for finally getting it. :)

I wrote my own verse to this when the album first came out based on some things that I was dealing with. Leaving Heaven Remix verse: Will you MOURN WHEN I'M DEAD? Or place a crown of THORNS ON MY HEAD? You can cry me a river of tears but no MORE THAN I'VE SHED. I was BORN WITH THIS DEBT, my soul is TORTURED AND YET you show no REMORSE OR RESPECT, not even a PORTION OF IT. You gave me a robe fit for a king, I WORE IT TO BED but the next MORNING INSTEAD you TORE IT TO SHREDS. I'm tryna see the bigger picture but the PORTRAIT IS RIPPED. I've gone to WAR WITH MY PEN, wrestled back and FORTH WITH REGRET but no MORE WITH THIS SHIT, my MORALS ARE SET. There's no MORE TO REPENT. No more turMOIL I'VE SPENT too much time being so LOYAL I GUESS I couldn't even see how unloyal you been. But this is where my new STORY BEGINS. If this is eternity I'd rather be a MORTAL AGAIN so RESTORE ALL MY SINS and place the HORNS ON MY HEAD because. I'm leaving heaven...

I cried at NF - How Could You Leave Us... It’s much more painful to hear than any other song just because throughout the song you can hear it in Nate’s voice that he’s on the verge of crying then at the end you hear him actually crying and that is raw emotion at its finest

Thank you Knox! I was really looking forward to this reaction since the album came out because I knew you would get it. Great job as always. I still don't understand why is so underrated. Skylar did an incredible job producing this amazing song. I am so drawn to that hook; it's mesmerizing. And I agree with you, we needed more of that. "Where the fuck you were at when De'Angelo done hurt me real bad?", man that part gets me every time. Em's voice is fill with all sorts of emotions just in that single line. Thanks again for dissecting this song, you're the best at it. It needs to be praised more. Take care and I hope you're doing well in these weird circumstances.

man seeing how emotional you got from this song, makes me want you to do Castle and Arose from Revival like right NOW! lol those 2 songs are as emotionally powerful as any he’s ever done, if not more so. They’re amazing...and seeing how much you like Skylar Grey and Eminem together, she has her fingerprints on Revival so I know you’re gunna really dig those songs...but like I said you really should do them in the order Eminem has them on the album you know. Take it in how he gave it to us. You are on another level my friend..you will hit 100k in no time! I’m gunna keep sharing your videos because in a time when mumble rap exists we need people like you who can be the bridge for ordinary people to understand and truly appreciate the real lyricist.. I’m thankful as hell that you enjoy doing this, because it’s honestly therapeutic to hear someone else who understands all the intricate and meticulous brilliance that is real word play... so Thank you man. 💯🙃 stay safe, stay brilliant, and stay golden pony boy? idk it’s like 4 a.m 😂 how about stay you?👌🏼🙏🏼

I grew up never meeting my father I'm in my thirties and never had a Christmas card everyone knows that date but I know he wouldn't of knew my birthday. I have always picked the wrong guys growing up because I have always had that feeling if I wasn't good enough for my own dad I would always pick the bad ones brought out my insecurities and I'm single because of trust issues

I'm fortunate enough to have grown up with both parents who are always there for me. My grandfather on my mom's side left my mom and grandmother before my mom was even born. My grandmother had to raise my mom by herself in a sketchy area of Portland, Oregon. I've seen the area she grew up in, and while it's not total ghetto, it's close to it. My mom grew up never hearing her father's voice, never even being acknowledged by him, until she was in her late twenties, when out of the blue he up and called her ON HER BIRTHDAY to talk to her for god knows what reason. My dad almost didn't let him, and my mom almost refused, but in the end she actually picked up the phone. I'm told she didn't have much to say to him. After that, she never heard from him again, and he passed away around a decade ago. I'm in my early twenties, and I love my mom to death and couldn't imagine growing up without her. To this day I still can't fathom why my grandfather thought he had ANY right to reach out to my mom after roughly thirty years of silence. Whenever my mom is asked about him, all she really has to say is, "The bastard missed out." Damn straight mom. DAMN. FUCKING. STRAIGHT.👏👏👏

I love how you do breakdowns. Very often even though I enjoy reactors, if they say they break down things, they maybe break down 1 - 2 lines and call it a day. Not being American myself, I often do not understand or catch references and double meanings unless they are broken down for me. There may be a word I don't know has an actual meaning, it may be a cultural thing I don't know about, it may be referring to another song I don't know about. These in-depth breakdowns really help me understand and appreciate the music on a different level and I thank you for that. The way I see it, the more gets broken down, the better. That is in my opinion how these reaction videos should be - it serves to educate others as well as entertain and also decreases the risk of any party claiming that it is not fair use. As three pauses or a quick fast forward can hardly be considered fair use.

Thanks for taking the time to comment and share that. Really means a lot and keeps me doing these reactions because I know they’re appreciated. Agreed. I mean, watching people listen to music and not say anything is quite boring, so I never understood why some comments say "too long" or "too much talking". Even if it's not a deep breakdown like this, sometimes you get a lot of references and historical input (especially hiphop-history) through these talks. If someone wanted to just listen to the song, why not ... listen to the song? But this here, this channel and some similar ones are gold when it comes to getting the true ART of hiphop.

I feel like you have to do Revival...I can’t “Believe” how slept on and hated it was and still is, Hell I’m “Offended” because when I first heard the album, it felt “Like Home” to me..Honestly I couldn’t understand where the overwhelming “River” of hate was coming from, because he painted some masterpieces with the way he “Framed” the words..The whole album has serious “Heat” throughout it, some won’t like the beat choices, but the lyrics are too good to ignore! But he “Arose” from the supposed ashes of a trash album and has given us perfection since, he’s in the “Castle” of Hip Hop, you know..where the LEGENDS are and is “Untouchable”, everyone else is going “Nowhere Fast”. Show me someone else who can “Walk on Water” like he does. I don’t know about anyone else but I “Need Me” some Eminem in my life or else I would end up creating some very “Tragic Endings” for a “Bad Husband” that “Chloraseptic” throat spray would only make worse..so please get it “In Your Head” to give us some Eminem Revival reactions... Oh and that “Reminds Me” you may not know, but all the words in quotations are the song titles from the Revival album...I figured doing something like this might get your attention and persuade you to do them. I know you’ll appreciate and be able to explain to everyone the intricate and meticulously crafted and measured internal syllable rhymes and everything else he does in that album... your ability to breakdown the lyrics is something I seriously appreciate and respect, but your attention to detail and how you catch all the subtle changes and little nuggets of brilliance in the production side as well is just as impressive and something that no one else really catches.. you have a brilliant ear buddy. And your music is Dope too man...Hope you and yours are safe and stay that way bro! God Bless and keep doing your thang🙃💯
