I find it a little ironic all the comments about unconditional love under this video, and it's other reactions / song itself, since the song itself is supposed to be an example of an love gone wrong..... Are a lot of us really so warped that we think the content of this song is about unconditional love?... This is about insecurity and obsession, and unconditional love truly doesn't exist. I know that sounds pessimistic, yet, our very existences are subjective; meaning even the parameters of our attraction have boundaries and conditions, let alone love itself. Either way this is an amazing song. It's expression through simile is extremely relatable, since I doubt their isn't a single person alive who's wanted this kind of attention at some point, yet, realize people, that's your own ego and vanity.
