People defend Em because even though he did bad by his own standards, it was STILL better than 90% of the rap out there at the time. His worst day is better than the best of any of these mumble rappers or lean sipping fuckwads.

Eminem expresses his dissatisfaction in the current rap game, in other words, the rap industry. In the era of Eminem, it was frowned upon that a rapper occupied ghostwriters, and rappers tried not to sound the same as others. by now, using ghostwriters is not frowned upon, like copying the style. Nowadays almost everyone sounds the same, and Eminem has his own imitators, it's something that he dislikes, that's why this video deals with that kind of questions, eminem and lucas try to convey this message with the hope of making people's open eyes. the audience and change the Hip Hop industry.

EMINEM = GOAT. Period. 💯💯 I could name 50+ great songs by him & people have to remember that he writes EVERY SINGLE song he raps! He is a genius lyricist. These young rappers have no respect or gratitude for the ones like Eminem, 2Pac, Biggie, etc....who came before them & paved the way for them. That's what Eminem was talking about & it's so very true.

LMFAO y'all be having me rolling, i love y'all. 1. Joyner got Em out here dancing, it's cute lmao 2. From a few tracks off Em's album and from his interview it seems like he wants to handle everyone at once. A back and forth with just MGK and giving him a full diss track isn't worth and it isn't doing anything but helping MGK. 3. I think the people that get a million+ subs in a short period of time sold their souls. People like Dwayne n Jazz and ImDontai that's kept it real just recently got to a million subs and they've been around for years.

@Ritalie6 жыл бұрын
Something to keep in mind. We almost lost Eminem. The fact that he is doing good and still healthy and making music and not dead from an overdose or "suicide" means he narrowly escaped the clutches of the industry. His will to live was nearly taken away as he admits in his interviews. He did give away his soul for several years after he became big.

Em said he took an L. He's not talking about sales. He's talking about what people did to him and said about it. I have NO IDEA what people are talking about with Revival. That album was great. People were just 'expecting' something, didn't get what they 'expected,' and said it was bad. But now people are going back to the album giving it a second listen and talking about how great the songs are. There is only one song of which I wasn't too fond. That album was great. Hell, people would have shunned Kamikaze if he didn't do a surprise release!

for the record Eminem still defends the quality of the Revival album but obviously it caught a lot of flack for not being "Eminem enough". he says that if you think its "not for you" thats fine he doesnt expect every album to appeal to everybody and in that regard he took an L. but he also says dont call it "trash" because "trash" means that the technical skill is still there which is something he has always excelled at. a lot of people were calling it trash because they didnt like what he was rapping about which is different from being "trash".

That beat sounds like something Joyner would drop, Em borrowed Joyner's flow respectfully. He also made a reference to Kendrick's DNA track, an OG letting two newer rappers know he feels what they doing by not simply copying what's hot.
