he's such an intelligent guy. But like, the things he said when asked about the current state of Detroit at that time, when it really started to go to sht, then hear him in 2018 or whatever, it's like, he never figured it out. He became a milk toast bubble living, celebrity pole smoking, non edgy (philosophically), 16 year old brain no wisdom having little boy. Even having left the partying, drugs, pharma poison, behind, releales himself as a go along to get long gruel sucking cork spooner. It's really actually mind blowing.

Yup. Society these days has been so sheltered and mollycoddled that interviewers legit think, just because they in the same room as the legend they interviewing, that makes them just as accomplished and legendary, like they don't need to go out of their way to know some shit or to respect the famous interviewee. That's woke culture for you, bro. Everybody be told they special. Everybody be getting told they can do no wrong and that they perfect at what they do, that any criticism they get is just haters or "racist/misogynist/whatever other 'ist' word you wanna use to hide from the critique. There are LEGIT interviews I've seen done in which the interviewer didn't even know the damn person they interviewing. They legit call them another persons name and then act like it's just a simple mistake anybody could have made 😅😅😅 The effects of this woke garbage can be seen in every facet of media. Sensitive cry babies that feel justified in their pathetic self pity victim mentality because they're being TOLD regularly that they're justified. Sickening shit.

I'm in my 60s and loved Eminem's music back in the day, along with my many friends in New Zealand, as well as Australia. I enjoyed this honest interview and felt calm while listening to it, which was a compliment to the young interviewer and Eminem's respectful demeanor. They even looked like they could be brothers when both faced the camera! It's fantastic that Eminem was able to stop his dependence (I don't like labelling people as addicts or alcoholics etc) on valium, which is highly addictive, and other drugs, especially since he was nearly lost to the world. ❤

Dam I can relate to his story about addiction so much. From never really hitting my “rock bottom” but then again I’ve always felt like I’ve had several rock bottoms, but not one in particular that made me stop using. To going to rehab but not truly being ready to stop using, and only going for the people around me that were ready for me to stop using. I think for me, I just got tired of getting clean for a few weeks or months then relapsing and starting all over again. I got tired of giving people empty promises so to speak, over and over and over again. I’ve got 4 months clean right now, and I feel like this time is truly it for me. I started going to the gym every day and that has really helped me. I want to keep trying to improve my body and the thought of slamming meth mixed with fentanyl just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. I am aware that that mindset is a slippery slope tho. As an addict in recovery, it’s important I don’t let myself become complacent. Good luck to all the struggling addicts out there

I feel exactly the same way, and done the same things you describe. Heroin and crack mixed in speedballs is my drug of choice, and can't pretend I don't enjoy it, but stopped again a little while back, and I just don't want that crap life anymore. Want better things. All the best.

1:15 "The Marshall Mather LP...the Slim Shady LP...the first two records." Once again confirming that he views Infinite as a demo and not his debut album. Infinite is a really good album too but he did improve a lot by the time he recorded SSLP & MMLP

@@spiridonrobert16blew up* Also, he just feels like SSLP was his first real album because that’s when he got signed by Dre and Dre produced that album.

I wonder whether the interviewers question about a "happy Em album" sparked something in Em as Recovery was right after this interview..?
