It’s interesting when you said you haven’t heard Em be vulnerable in this way. I guess people hear what they’re looking for. For me, growing up, the number 1 thing I loved and learned from Em was being vulnerable. Some example: headlights, mockingbird, when I’m gone, beautiful, going through changes. Just to name a few if you want to check them out

The ending with everything going in reverse back to the beginning is so relatable and the whole video is genius, basically describing a whole '1 year and six months' in just a few minutes the song lasts. You're out on your own at night on the road representing a dark and lonely moment on your life's road, vulnerable, when she pulls up and offers to help you and tag along for a ride, helping you out of that loneliness. Everything is great while the ride lasts, you talk, you create a bond with that person, you get attached, then the ride, the time spent together, stops. She starts ignoring you, texting others while she's with you, you become paranoid, starting doubting her, going through her shit to confirm your suspicion. She gets back acting like everything is as usual and normal and invites you to stay over the night to prove herself to you. At the end of those 1 year and six months she tells you that she's not interested anymore and you are so hurt and become so desperate that at the moment the only two possible choices are ending her or ending yourself. The video loops back at the beginning showing that even though you have already seen what that leads to, you still enter the car and hope for an alternate ending just like how after so many bad experiences, before starting a new one, you wonder but most likely already know what will happen next, that it will be great for a while then it will turn cold and you'll end up suffering but have no other choice than to believe that this time things might be different, even though you already know they won't be. "Guts over fear" might be another one you'd like or "love you more" for another love based subject

"River" with Ed Sheeran is worth a listen. A lot of people hate on that album but I don't mind that Em era to be honest. Not the best but perfectly listenable
