This was so much more clever than just putting lyrics on a screen with one standstill image in the back. The battery was genius and so was the Eminem social media.

I absolutely agree. I think this video is super creative and adds so much to the song. This made me really like and appreciate the song more. It's incredibly underrated. He made a whole song detailing everything about America's corrupt history and how it ties into modern society. That's fucking fire

People complain about the production on this song, but it enhances the point he wanted to get across. It's not meant to be bumped, it's meant to be observed. In the first half of the song Em conveys the behavior of rebellious white cops through Rock music, delivering it in an uncomfortable way as a reminder of this uncomfortable conversation. Then in the second half Em uses a "boom bap" Hip-Hop beat to convey the perspective of the black people who are rebellious due to the unfair circumstances they were born into. Em doesn't have to spark this conversation, but he cares. That's why I will always admire him. RIP GEORGE FLOYD

You are spot on my friend. As a fucking whiteboy from Scandinavia this is very obvious to me and yet people were shitting on this song hard. I think the message is very powerful and it was (still is) extremely relevant for the US and the state of the country. The whole duality of the song is genius to me. Im still revisiting this song here in 2024 - unfortunately its still relevent.

Er, that's not true. I'm not a big enough fan of Eminem, or anybody, to bother wasting my time on such first world issues. Clearly, you're from s developed nation. I'm not. I find a funny comment, I say it's funny. Then I go back to the real world where my countrymen are beating doctors for no reason, rather than make two accounts to comment positively on an aging rapper's video (in all fairness, it's a good video).

And a lot of white polices are the reason for brutality... he's talking about black people getting killed cause of no reason by a big number of white police... this is It? You call it a false narrative? And he talked about nfl... Trump doesn't need to be Hitler... he's a scumbag of another sort... He's not bringing false narrative... you're the one who's getting misconception... proving that you're a trump supporter... good for you but accept the truth...

@@elliotstannard5621 actually not entirely true. i am very anti trump so I feel as though I can explain why this album failed. the reason it failed ISN'T because of it's social commentary but because the beats were generic, the guest appearances were very unneeded and lead to some pretty bad songs like river and need me. one more reason for it's failure was it's inconsistent tone, well it was mostly about the trump administration it also made one to many detours into topics such as em's life, bad relationships and oddly enough love triangles. with all that said I do actually respect your opinion and i hope this comment is seen as a civil argument about music and not a bashing on your beliefs

So I think this album got shitted on,because it was to real and eminems really seems to wanna change America for the good. So social media made it seem like this is his worst album ever because they don't want people exposed to this truth. But eminems not having it he dropped kamakazi and mtbmb. He somehow made people relook at this album taking it serious so now he's getting his message really heard. Yes he went hard in his new albums bringing us what we want to hear and at the same time he revived revival. Social media push back eminem pushed back harder. This album puts eminem on the edge of assassination, cause it's Martian Luther king/John Kennedy/2 pac level.yet he's still standing. He did in this album what they were fighting to do but got assinated for. Eminem actually cared on this album.
