New episode of ‘Who Really Won’ is up! My timing is just perfect, Eminem just dropped an album and got into some new beef, so why not learn about one of his past beefs? And why every artists he’s beefed with eventually went missing career wise. 👀 Check it out and let me know what you think! Sorry this one took forever lots of magazine searching that went wrong. 🙌🏼🔥

Yeah… wildly unpopular opinion I know but personally I don’t understand Eminem’s place in the pantheon. He is a good rapper, I just don’t think he is a great rapper, and I suspect that part of it was bc the powers that be recognised that they could make a lot of money by pushing him. IMO he is not on the level of Nas or Big or Rae/Ghost/Gza or less commercially successful rappers like Mos or Kweli or Cee-lo. Having said that it’s not really just a race thing, he is not the first artist and won’t be the last who has been pushed because he has the right look / persona. Or even charisma, that is very subjective, Pac was not the best rapper imo but had charisma by the bucketload and although I don’t see it in Eminem perhaps others do.

Don’t listen to the haters, I think it’s great you can come out of the closet here on KZbin to tell the world you wanna bump bellies with the greatest rapper alive. Although, you seem to also have some sexual aggression/sexy tension towards Benzino since you gave him that sexually suggestive “Bengayzino” nickname. Almost sounds like you secretly love him more than you love Eminem, and that maybe you and BigGayZino are just a couple of lovers having a little episode. And that maybe you saying Eminem is better, is really just you hoping that BigGayZino reads your comment, gets jealous and comes to his senses and realizes he was wrong for ever letting you go. Which is a long shot bro because there’s thousands of comments on here he would have to look through to find yours. But hey, I guess you two found each other in a big crazy world full of dreamers, so maybe it IS possible. I’ll be cheering for you and BigGayTito on Love&HipHop bro. Benzino could've used his platform to put on lesser known artists, provide resources for them to flourish and let them use that platform to stand independently without the machine. He instead used it to waste our and his time recording wack ass music. Em might not be the poster child for Black excellence, but Benzino had the tools the solve the problems he was addressing and wasted them... which makes him look worse in my eyes.

You know what, you just nailed it. Benzino was in position to help out the young mcs coming up. So his excuse that he was going at the machine was obvious bullshit. He was just trying to get people on board with him. He failed miserably if that's what he was really upset about. But we know it wasn't. He didn't give a fuck about nobody. A couple thoughts. I disagree with you on Benzino releasing the old freestyle. It wasn't a good move to me, it was underhanded. It's the old tactic for when you're debating/arguing with someone: when you can't beat your opponent's argument, you attack their character. One other thing that really stuck out to me, Benzino said to "Keep my kids' names out your mouth", then later in the same song issues a direct threat on Hallie's life. Self awareness check failed.

If he really didn't have something different from all those other dudes besides skin color he'd never have made it.

I mean that's your ''uneducated' opinion as a student of the hip hop culture there is nothing historically you could ever tell me my own culture. Perhaps alot of what you described is what made eminem relate to guys like you and the majority of his fanbase. The corp hip hop fans could never relate to the content of his dark music . Although he was lyrical, he was not the first to rapper that could freestyle or scheme lol. This is why i called your opinion uneducated. Eminem was the kind of rapper that spent the majority of his time going at pop stars eg: brittney spears, christina, mariah carey, lol and guys like benzino nick cannon whom he thought were easy targets. Despite eminem being more lyrical, Benzino was 100 percent accurate in what he was explaining the double standard that existed.

@@TheMattTrakker your basically using the "shut up and dance/dribble" theme. Why isn't he good at talking politics, because he's a rapper!? That fact that a white man is speaking on certain racial issues is a huge deal because he doesn't have to and people are basically saying he is wrong for it. These entertainers are human as well so they're opinion should matter. It doesn't have to be in a song because let's be real, most people wouldn't even have heard it if he had put it in a song. He choose to spit that freestyle during a big moment in hip hop that couldn't just be ignored and was heard by so many. That's doing more than most of these artist. What's funny is Eminem shows more love and respect for the culture Benzino cries about and is so worked up about than he does. If you need to see how much Eminem is a student of hip hop and respects every aspect of it...watch his Rock N Roll Hall of Fame speech. Also you never go after a man's daughter dude. Shi if your ass would threaten my kid I wouldn't be rapping at you. You'd be done buddy.

Eminem took an L this time around in my personal opinion. Benzino exposed Eminem for being a racist and this is why he emerged victorious in this battle. Yes Eminem may be superior lyrically but I don't care about that. Only simple minded rap fans are impressed with punchlines and metaphors that lack substance. Eminem's bars lack substance!!! But what disgust me the most about Eminem is how he used black culture (Hip Hop) to diss black people. I guess he forgot who originated this art form because it certainly was NOT white people. Then he turns around and tries to rationalize his racist statements by saying he was young and had just broke up with a black chick. Really? Im not buying it. Only Eminem fans would accept his apology, not me. Benzino did an excellent job of exposing this culture vulture for what he is, a blatant racist, and this is why Benzino won this beef. Eminem even went as far as to sue Benzino because he didn't want the rest of those racist songs made available to the public lol 😁. If Eminem is racist that's cool but STOP using black culture to fatten your pockets then. Use your own culture...oops...I forgot white people don't have their own culture lol 😁.
