Tbf with them it wasn’t explained in the best way. Like they could’ve explained better that Aurora possessed Claire instead of them being the same person or putting a dramatic music over the fact that Cid thinks Claire is awakening her Chuuni side which makes it seem like it’s serious to someone who doesn’t really know 8th grade syndrome very well. But it all makes sense to someone who watched anime for a long time.

@@genjimdfro3512 Yeah, that's a good point. To add to that, I also think if you weren't immersed in the show from the first season, it's generally hard to follow what's going on. From the reactions I've seen so far, they mostly struggle to understand the bloods and the chuuni thing. Some even still struggle to realize TEIS is a parody isekai, and they're missing the jokes cuz of that.

Damn, they removed a lot of good part in this episode.. 1st, he did not use atomic on the male vampire, 2nd Elizabeth supposed to glance at shadow, 3rd Betas back story, 4th shadow knew that Eliz is in great pain and want to die but he recovered her instead and a lot moreeee.. tsk

The way the anime adapts the LN seems like its ignoring aome important stuff and just focusing on the comedy. Its can be confusing for people who just casually watch the show

This is better tho, the pacing is fine. It will be boring to some to put EVERYTHING in Anime. *_To show but not to Tell_* is a great way to translate Written story. Recent Western media failed to make an interesting show cuz they overloaded the viewer with expositions, spending few minutes talking and talking, spoon feeding people everything they need to know (including parts in the source material that had nothing to do with current scenes) in one go which is poor way of adaptation. Explaining every little details just in case the viewers can't see it on their screen.

@@majestic-domination It seems what he meant by important stuffs was most of the slice of life (what are shadow garden doing everyday) and lore building like references from Earth used by Cid where he explained how the Bank and Billing system started. Which will be boring in Anime format.

Anime and Manga are just meant to get audiences to enjoy the source material through a different medium. Most mature audience will recognize that there is more and if interested will explore the other mediums as well. Which in turn will hopefully get the author to keep going.
