As far as the musicians - this the A-Studio Band - Khazah-Russian group. This is their song. Their vocalists sang this song for many years... in a jazzi style. He died few years ago. The band was invited as guests (the 30th anniversary of the group) to the New Wave singing contest. This is the annual contest in Russia, Sochi held by the Black Sea, and they chose Dimash to sing this song... certainly in a new style.

Lol I binge watch all these dimash react videos and everytime the coaches want to explain things and imitate the notes .. I am like..ew ..why does it sound so ugly when they do it 😂😂. Noci grant is one of the few I enjoy listening to.

Mallory Mallory I think she hits the notes really well. But when you’re just doing a video reaction and you aren’t using the best microphone, it doesn’t sound as good because the sound comes out more loud and shrill. But if she was using an actual singing mic it would sound better. That’s just my theory because to me it sounds like she can sing really well and it’s just the audio quality making it sound a little weird.

@mohamed laarbi mouafi Dude WTH are you taking about🤨, she's one of the extremely few coaches who can actually replicate Dimash. 😒what's wrong with you. I think she has about 4 octaves herself. She actually nailed a few of the notes Dimash used in the video above. Watch her other reactions, Her and there is one more coach on YT called Ken Templin; they both professional singers. They mimic Dimash's range extremely well

Lol the only difference Bastau vs Singer is strictly technic. Bastau version is the closest and best polished version of all other singers to original blue alien soprano. I prefer Singer version, you can actually taste a bit of his bel canto technique control. Peace!

Unfortunately (don't get me wrong) because you stopped the video, you missed that what started as the B flat 5 near the end of Sinful Passion, lasted for a full 23 seconds during which he didn't catch the breath! 😉❤️ And, in a previous video you've said that you never heard his normal voice... you stopped the video and skipped to SOS... you missed the part where he talk to the audience 😂😉❤️

@@TeaOnTue I notice she misses, or at least doesn't acknowledge a ton of stuff besides checking how high a note is. There's an atomic bomb of different styles, techniques, and fantastic vocal feats happening and 80 or 90 % mentioned is just about measuring a note's pitch ("e6," "c5", etc.).

This was more of a trying to match your voice with Dimash than a reaction video. Yes you have a beautiful tone, but girl you were all over him, pausing singing over him.

Dimash performing that 24 second breath while belting high then sliding even higher then adding vibrato then doing a bunch descending runs in 1 24 second breath is one of the most incredible vocal feats I've seen or heard from any singer in my entire life and most singers and vocal coach reactions are absolutely gobsmacked by it but the reactor in this video didn't seem impressed or even acknowledge how insanely talented and technically difficult that part was. She just seems to notice and mention peak notes and that's all. There is sooooo much more to Dimash than just what the highest note he can hit is.

Dimash has a team of arrangers (although he himself is finishing his Masters Degree in Composition) who adapt songs for him. Igor Krutoy writes songs specifically for Dimash like the brilliant Ogni Pietra. Dimash also composes some songs, for example the song War and Peace, in Russian, of which there is a rare fancam-video on KZbin somewhere. I suggest not singing over Dimash when he hits high notes. If you want to sing the same note, I suggest just pausing after he hits it and doing it. You hide the actual note that Dimash is hitting from viewers and new viewers to Dimash watching this may not actually hear it.

please don't drink monsters before a dimash reaction ever again, haha. i feel like this reaction was a bit disconnected with the performances you were watching, i dunno. i will offer that i think you oughta consider the main line up of what dimash has to offer (the singer/i am singer performances, these select live videos, music video, etc.), which is easy to do considering how many others have been reacting/reviewing to dimash for a solid 1.5 years or so now. look those over, research the song if necessary, & react to the ones that you believe will speak to yr heart the most truly & deeply. all "dears", myself included, have absolute to die for favorite performances of his, & we'll all request those. while this is hella helpful in narrowing down from a large collection, it ought not to be the major deciding factor in which of dimash's songs/covers you react to. that's just my two cents & i hope you'll consider what i'm saying. the dears will love seeing any & all reactions to dimash! :) PS: if lots of people were demanding you react to SOS, it's likely because it's a fantastically beautiful song that dimash happens to perform immaculately, but also because on the world's best show you only got the bare bones essentials of the song, from an ill dimash. the song in its entirety is much more hard hitting & enjoyable, in my opinion. hope to see more dimash! he's a vocal delight to fall in love with. he did partake in a quartet to perform a queen medley very recently for the singer 2019, however it's largely been removed from youtube due to copyright. i have a few links to it that are still up & also my own version saved. let me know if yr interested in hearing/reacting. it's absolutely divine at certain points, & i know you will always appreciate some queen. ❤️

It was a nice reaction, but did have a few turnoffs that others have already mentioned. As a female singer, I wish you talked about how what Dimash is doing is incredible because he's a male. The things he does in his higher registers are things female singers can do albeit difficult even for them. His transitioning between registers is something that many singers cannot do with such precise control--it's worth mentioning. For other viewers, I recommend also checking out Ken Tamplin's reactions to Dimash as they are very insightful from a male singer's perspective.

I am not entirely sure everyone fully understands how hard is to hit E6 or F6, years of training and personal care. His register go higher than whitney or celine, only mariah is above him. What amaze me the most is his ability to balance/adapt those techniques execution to pop songs, they would sounds off if he executed them opera strict way so he has to mold/shape em. Can we agree he has muscle trained for opera meaning his muscle and breath control are prepare for long sustained/high notes. His arrangements are very appealing to show off his vocal skills and stage presence talent (avoiding the fact dude is 6`3 tall and handsome, right?) He is considered the best male singers in the world and he`s no studio album. Gladly will witness his evolution.

Thanks for the analysis. Singing Dimash is like one big vocal encyclopedia. He formed his style and manner of performance. Not everyone is given to endow a song with such energy, when the hall is literally “electrified”. Dimash is the best !!!
