You can use Alaska Airlines Miles to redeem on Emirates. I spent 180k miles on this First Class ticket from San Francisco to Dubai, 11 months stop over then now flying to Morocco, that's over 25 hours luxury in First Class. This is a cheaper work than paying First Class straight. In the future videos, I will try to include tips and ways to save money to fly better!

There's a bar to hold onto and a small seat inside the shower. There is actually a little sign inside the shower telling you to hold onto the bar and sit down in the event of turbulence.

Hi Sam, I like your videos very much but unfortunately more and more the airlines treat you like a celebrity and not like a normal passenger. Yesterday I cam back from a A380 First Class trip with Emirates and it was pretty much different than what you are showing in your videos. It is ok that they treat you extremly well since you are a really nice guy but that is not what to expect when you are a normal passenger so the airlines are using your popularity to market their products. Consider what you want to show the real experience or just a show. Budy you are too famous. Take care.

Did you talk to the stewards more than just telling them what you wanted to eat? Otherwise they'll just leave you alone apart from checking that if you want everything now and again. That's how most first passengers want it was well; to be left alone in comfort. It helps that Sam seems to have a friendly personality and is prepared to lead social interactions rather than wait for them. Flight stewards will rarely talk with you much less you try to start a conversation with them.

Thanks Joe, i do agree with you at some extent. When you're famous, you tend to get looked after more. But I want to state my motive here. I'm an airline lover and passionate avgeek myself, I have never changed my passion and my cause here. I want to document my fun trip and show it as it is. From a content point of view, you'd agree with me it is quite boring if i just shoot the food, wine and go sleep. I want to be as interactive as possible. The end result may became a free marketing for the airline. (some positive externalities here) but my main objective is to document my journey and bring the audience together. I am certainly adjusting and learning every day. it is really hard to balance it.

I travel economy mainly but usually end up chatting to the flight crew which does often lead to slightly better treatment I feel. I don't do it for that reason, it is mainly to ease the boredom and I never get in their way which is appreciated. A lot of crew like to have a conversation if you have something interesting to talk about, of course not when they are busy. What I'm saying is, it is possible to have a great experience similar to these videos even in economy if you treat the crew well.

Sams the type of guy who never leaves the airplane/airport. He just connects to the next flight while he waits in the first class lounges.
