Just checked the flight fare in MakeMyTrip.. Dubai - Kochi, 14th Aug, SpiceJet Flight # SG17, Non Stop - Rs.8453/- per adult.. Not sure which flight is charging 50,000/-.. Or May be MakeMyTrip is showing wrong fare.

Sujith the high airlines price is due to restricted seats between india and gulf . GOI has restricted seat with Dubai to 63,000 per week and considering huge No of Indians living here PRICES are extremely high in most of the year . None of our MPs talk about it . What we need is increased seats with gulf counties , landing rights to Kannur and Mangalore airports in Kerala. If you implement these two steps prices will automatically come down . Now Kottayam airport is coming up . This airport will have only domestic flight to few cities in india unless policy changes by GOI.
