Yes BUT...When my daughter was a baby and still in her carseat carrier, I'd balance it on the shopping cart, get my stuff, come back and unload then put her in the car. I had to abandon the cart because I wasn't going to leave her alone, strapped into her seat in the car. Yes, I hated leaving the cart.
