That sludge would do wonders for a garden. Anyone with a big enough container and a pump can basically get free natural fertilizer.

Thank you, I was wondering if it was something along those lines!
@CuteLittleAvali
@CuteLittleAvali Жыл бұрын
@orosvildheim Hey no problem! That sludge is just dead plants and other organisms that have decomposed in and under the pond. It builds up over time and becomes an extremely lush marshland if left undisturbed, before becoming a nutrient rich part of the forest. It takes a long time, but surely that sludge is a gift from mother earth. Also they probably just wanted to repair the pond and were asking for someone to pump it out, in a creative way which targets organic gardeners and farmers.

Hi! Not pond sludge guy, but I'd probably haul it. That stuff is GOLD for plants! The sludge is more often than not full of fish feces and algae, and is amazing for plants once diluted. It's like local farmers selling cow and horse manure, so free sludge is an alright deal. Also human dreads as opposed to synthetic dreads. Not a lot of hairdressers take dread donations because of the idea that they're inherently "dirty" (which is stupid but hey, racism!) so people use them as extensions or ways to start their dreads instead

Regarding dreadlocks with suspicion is not necessarily “racist”, I know a number of people with dreads who are definitively not black. However, everyone who has dreads does not necessarily keep them washed, and because of the density of the matts, it is really difficult to get them REALLY clean. So hairdressers would be inclined to err on the side of caution.

That Bombay sapphire gin lamp is definitely worth more than $250 bucks. That took time, dedication, and liver damage
@PinkAgaricus
@PinkAgaricus Жыл бұрын
Yup exactly also just putting those bottles together as a lamp and passing wiring through it for a light to work in it in the first place also makes it worth more than $250. I also agree with the cirrhosis and liver damage thing too, the hospital care for that is going to be way more than $250, more like $25,000.

Okay, not all stripper poles spin. Source: *was a stripper*. All the ones I danced on were stationary and it's not actually that hard to spin on one without taking your skin off.

Makes sense, stripper poles are made of metal, just like fireman poles and fireman poles are incorporated into playground equipment. If sliding down a pole risked "tearing off your skin" they wouldn't have them on jungle gyms, no parent would let their kids play on something that would flay them alive. Okay maybe republican parents might; I've seen enough memes from them to know that they are very offended by the concept of children's safety.

Yeah, I've spun on even just like, school handrails before and they're fairly smooth. Not slippery, just easy to get around if you're in a hurry to get somewhere, so I could see it. Free pond sludge?!? Man I’d take the whole pond! It might take me 1000 trips with my little truck, but that stud is the best fertilizer around, at least if it has had fish, ducks, geese or something else pooping in it. I don't know how people can think that a pole-dancing pole is static. I mean we can put it in static but generally we only do it when we're learning new tricks, otherwise we always put it in spin. Some tricks are just impossible to do if the pole doesn't spin. The point of wearing minimal clothing is so the skin can stick to the pole and help us not slide down, so trying to spin on a static pole would be an absolute nightmare.
