I've always felt alone in life and sad that I have no friends. In quarantine it hit me hard but at the same time I never felt so better. I still feel very much alone but I took this time to think about myself and figure out who I truly am. There is still a lot more to discover about myself. Now I feel like I know what I want in life and what I need. I'm not religious but maybe the universe wanted me to be alone so I can figure myself out and find my own happiness. How can you make someone else happy if you can't make yourself happy? In my most darkest times I think about "what if I kill myself" but it is always followed with "what if I overcome this and be happy" that small sliver of hope has always made me push through my hardest times. Even though I still struggle through these things even if that hope is microscopic I will follow hope. I don't care if this happiness will come in 50 years, if it exists I will follow until the end.
