My favourite part of the uncensored library is the detail they put into the architecture. They could've made a boring hallway with all the censored articles in but they went the extra mile to make a truly impressive piece of art to go with it. 10/10
@insomniac_at54612 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure they used worldedit or something like that to build it because the circles and arches were done way to perfectly for a human to have done them. It’s still really ducking impressive though

@@Generic_Noob Honestly, idc if they used world edit or not. The fact that there's actual symbolic thought behind it is what really counts as effort here. They made the rooms reflective of each nation's most common form of censorship, such as the giant cage to reflect wrongfully arrested journalists, or the maze to show the obstacles put in the way to prevent any honest reports being published. And then there's the memorial room, for all the journalists who've been offed for attempting to do their job justly... It's just as much a virtual memorial as it is a virtual library.
@Generic_Noob2 жыл бұрын
@@conspiracypanda1200 The build truly is an masterpiece with its intricacies and the cause within it. As for my original reply, it was to clarify that world edit does not detract from how impressive a build is and is common place.

4:15 I need to take a moment here for poor Joey. He was a homeless man who used to walk around the little town I live in. He was extremely schizophrenic and couldn’t afford medication, he had no family, and because of this he wouldn’t maintain a job and would just walk around. Everyone knew him, but very few KNEW him. He would sleep in concrete tubes and mattresses behind stores. He walked around with a big bottle of Mountain Dew. My best friends other friend bought him a new jacket a few weeks ago because it was so really cold outside. They used to talk because they were able to relate on being schizophrenic, but she was medicated. He refused to take money from people, he would only take food and things that could not be returned. He would only seldom by alcohol, never enough to get drunk as he couldn’t afford it, and didn’t buy cigarettes, but instead picked them off the ground to use them. He used to sit and sleep specifically at the corner table outside the coffee shop I work at. He’s never been threatening or asked anyone for anything, but everywhere I went, everyone made comments about him. “Worthless drunk”, “druggie”, everyone made him out to be a threat or a waste of space. They talked about him like he would just randomly attack or badger you for money or mug you. I’ve known him since I worked my last job and he would sit on the patio while I swept. He didn’t talk to me or threaten me at all. Almost two weeks ago, he collapsed in front of the cafe I work at while I wasn’t at work and hit his head on the bricks that stick out by the windows. Someone called the paramedics, he started freaking out saying he was drugged. My best friends friend was there and he was reaching out to her for help, but they said only immediate family was allowed, to which he screamed he had no family, he had no one. They took him to the ER, I got to enjoy many condescending comments about him from random people. He passed away a few days ago. My friend was trying to find the ER or any information about what they did with his body to give him at least some sort of public burial, but found nothing. She suspects they already cremated him and wasted him because our town is too poor to hold on to someone with no identification or anyone who will miss him. He deserved so much better. Rest in Peace Joey. It won’t be the same without you.
@lanturn32392 жыл бұрын
This kind of thing makes me so angry. May he rest in Peace. Glad you said something online. At least this way he can be memorialized in a sense. Others can know he was alive. I'll put one here for a lady in my hometown, too. I don't know her name or if she's alright. I only met her once. She said she had two cats and was living in a tent. She asked me if I had any spare food or cash on me. I didn't. I offered to buy her a pizza with my card since there was a place right up the street, but she said she didn't have time, it was too late in the day, she had to get back. I think about her a lot. I try to carry food on me more often now, so that next time there's a moment like that I can actually help. I hope she's alright. Anyone Christian who sees this, say a prayer for her.

I realized I hadn't been getting too much use out of the bike so I was getting ready to try to sell the bike when it was stolen. When I first bought my bike the shop had been clearing out their inventory of a company that had been bought out by another company and that was their last one, so they sold it to me for their cost. After paying my deductible and factoring in the 5ish years I had the bike, I ended up making about $100 in profit and I didn't have to deal with selling the bike through craigslist or something.

He didn't run away and was just looking at me all confused and scared. Apparently he didn't steal it but actually just bought it off some guy (the real thief) for $120 (it was worth a lot more) since it was a good deal. The young guy was living in an RV and had no job but seemed nice. So I put my bike back on the car rack, drove him to my banks ATM to give him back the $120 he spent. He was also a victim in the scam so I felt bad.

Going outdoors in the fresh air, getting infrared and ultraviolet light is by far the best activity to do in a pandemic like this and will lower the chances of getting (severe) illness significantly, compared to staying inside (other factors assumed equal). At least four health factors conspire together to benefit the beachgoers: breathing reliatively unpolluted air, intracellular melatonin from the IR, vitamin D from the UV, and mental health by feeling free outside.

Teddy Roosevelt wasn't the only member of his family who was something of a mad lad. The same can be said of his children! I don't know of any incidents involving Ted or Ethel, but Kermit was the sort of person who tried for bigger and better animals to hunt, just so he could get samples to the Smithsonian (similar to his father). His brothers, Archie and Quentin, were notorious for the mischief they caused in the White House. And the oldest kid, Alice - well, if there ever was a chaotic neutral person, this was it! She had a pet snake, she's thought to have done some stuff just to watch the world burn (so to speak), and she even smoked cigars in public places (and way back then only males could usually get away with that)!

Be like Doom Guy... You know, in Resident Evil 0, Billy Coen did the same thing, got blamed for the deaths of the civilians, court marshalled, sentenced to death, and ended up fighting for his life in a zombie infested facility. Definitely stand up to tyranny and corruption, but don't ignore the inherent risk of backlash either.

Missed a chance to make fun of a misspelling: "native costal strawberry". "Coastal" is the word they wanted. A "costal" strawberry would be one with a ribcage.
