Then, I took the squared root of that, since the Pythagorean theorem is a squared + b squared = c squared, so c, the hypotenuse, is the square root of the sum of that equation. for that, I got around 25 feet in 5 seconds or 5 feet per second. but I had to take into account acceleration since after 1 second, it would be 25 + 1 = 26 and the sqr root of that is 5.099, which is very close to the 5 per second I got before. so, in total, I got 5.099 or rounded up to 5.1 feet per second. please no hate, I'm just curious whether I did this correctly or not (also, not r/theydidthemath lmao)
