Hi Emma, I just found you just a few days ago and please don’t stop doing PODCASTS, for I thoroughly enjoyed seeing what you are working on. I found you when watching another crochet channel and you were recommended. I’m most definitely going to do the mini granny square blanket and I love the moss stitch C2C blanket as well. The moss stitch gives it such a different look.

❤ Enma, i think you put yourself down too much, as both a creator and podcaster. You really are inspirational so please continue to create podcasts and share you beautiful projects and tutorials. Take that thought of deleting your past podcasts out of your head and think positive about the future! You have many followers so that must tell you how lovely we all think you are. I look forward to seeing progress on your projects and new cast-ons!

@@emmacmakes 🥰 Emma! Just don't stop podcasting! You are a great podcaster and your podcasts are so inspirational! I dont mind whether you podcast irregularly or with gaps inbetween. I think all crafters have times when they are on a high and can churn out lots of creative products, but then have times when they are at a low and don't seem to want to craft as much. So we are all in the same boat, as they say, so we understand eachother x

Have not crocheted/knitted in years. Watching your video short that popped up, led me to subscribe and I ‘ve just begun going through your videos. Much appreciation for your scrap blankets. They are simply beautiful. I will be digging out my hooks and needles and bags of wooly bits. I hope you continue at your pace of course. Your channel is a breath of fresh air compared to so much nonsense on you tube. I’m excited to curl up with a cup of coffee and my wool now. Cheers from Toronto, Canada.

Hello! I am one of those who found your podcast due to the IG posts and subsequent tutorials! I plan to watch your other videos too! So excited to find wonderful uses for my scraps that hold such memories, so I want to include the yarn in another project as well. Especially the sock tidbits I have since I give away all the socks I knit as gifts!

Thank you so much! That’s one of the reasons I love scrap yarn projects so much, just being able to remember all of the different projects from the past ☺️ Perhaps I should do more socks as gifts, it sounds like a very good idea 🥰

Hi Emma, this was an absolute delight to watch! Thank you so much for podcasting! I have really enjoyed your scrappy blanket projects and tutorials! I love cascade heritage yarn. To answer your question about a daffodil yellow that I like in Heritage it is butter 5611. I will say that I like drops Marino baby yarn Color 03 light yellow, better. The yellow in the drops is to me the perfect daffodil yellow it’s bright and cheery with a softness to the color. Drops light yellow is the perfect pastel yellow. The cascade heritage yellow leans more towards cream to me but still beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful week🌸

Emma your blanket is beautiful. You've inspired me to start one with all my sock yarn scraps & advent minis. An estimate for knowing how much yarn is needed would be to weigh the finished blanket & knowing the yarn weight could give an approximately yardage/metetage needed. I've just started mine this weekend but I'm already loving playing with colour. Don't doubt yourself. You're creating beautiful things 😁

Love the shawl! And you know, I can see what you mean about the yarn for the Attic 24 blanket not being as bright as it looks on the pattern photo, but actually, I really like it! Lovely to see you back ~ I'm so pleased you decided to podcast again 😊 Your scrap yarn blankets are so pretty 💖 I love your Everyday sweater and the Netherton cardi ~ they both have a bit of a 50s vibe with the fitted style and nipped in waist. I think they will both look perfect on you! Did you make a decision about the yellow yarn? I wonder if the butter is just a little too pale to contrast enough? Heritage have a lemon colour which might work.
