Lol. You are clearly consumed and blinded by the feminism movement. The amount of narcissism that is required to do this, hiring the band, the stage, taking advantage of your power (because noone else really has the ability to do this), and also the fact that Charles did not like it the first time. So if you are in a relationship, the other person must be forced to like what you give them? or are you supposed to tailor what you give them to what you know they would like? Diana making this video was a slap in the face to him.

The metaphor in this song is wisely presented: 1. When Diana sings in solo the song "all I ask of you" it symbolizes her passionate and deep love for Prince Charles in hopes he'd love her back the way she loves him endlessly. The lyrics says "love me, that's all I ask of you" signifies Diana, asking only to be loved by Charles despite all the harsh treatments she has been through as his wife. 2. The song was sung on solo and not duet signifies that their love was unrequited. 3. The phantom in the corner symbolizes death lingering behind; the fate of Diana. When Charles could've been the Prince to save her from the darkness and despair, it didn't end the same way as the the actual Phantom of the opera. In reality, the story ended when the phantom (death) took the broken hearted maiden (Diana) from this world while her love (Prince Charles) easily moved on with someone else as if nothing happened, after all, all Diana ever wanted was someone who could love her back...

This needs to be a song we can PURCHASE FOR MONEY. It's too good NOT to be able to sell this on a soundtrack of the Crown or a compilation album of other songs from the show.

Interesting. This song is supposed to be a duet with Raul, the love interest for Christine (Diana). She has a crowd admiring and supporting her, but she’s without her partner. Just like Diana.

I always wondered if the full scene existed. Thank you so much for sharing. I also wonder if there is a full scene of Princess Diana dancing Uptown Girl.

Prince Charles and the RF never deserved Diana. Envy can be such poison. RIP Diana and you will always be the queen of our hearts.

I think it's sad everyone is still making fun of Diana for this. I thought it was sweet and thoughtful. I didn't think it was dumb or whatever. 💜💜💜💜💜

She didn’t actually do this.

@@sourishbanjo5037 I've read literally a billion books on Diana both written by friendly and unfriendly sources.. I've always read that she *did* do this. Where do you think they came up with this idea. From sourcing information about her. The Crown is not 100% factual, Diana did record herself performing for Charles. Some books say she was singing, others say she was doing an interpretive dance. (Probably was a dance in my opinion). But she DID make a tape and give it to Charles as a gift. Word is he treated it like he did her performance with Wayne Sleep (On Charles birthday).

this hits so hard. the way she’s watching it, the way she knows she only did it to please him, jesus, emma played her so well. also, it’s not auto tuned, like at all, because her vibrato is so delicate throughout. that’s all her. what a legend.

It must have been divine for the audience to see her HRH Princess Diana singing at the opera how fortunate the audience were to have this Serena princess that really represent the winds as well and sing at the opera her husband

This was actually a purely fictional event that was written for The Crown, but Emma Corrin was absolutely lovely! The dance at the ballet to Uptown Girl was based on a real event though :)
@karenf10013 жыл бұрын
@@ashleyp3245 no, this isn’t fictional. Diana did actually sing this as a gift for Charles

I say about Emma Corrin the one who did princess Diana, she did very well acting as princess Diana. Also her singing voice is very well done and 10 points.
