Chelsea’s hopes of winning a first Women’s Champions League title were ended as Barcelona overturned a first-leg deficit to win 2-0 at Stamford Bridge and progress to the final.
Fridolina Rolfo fired home from the penalty spot with 15 minutes to play to complete the defending champions’ fightback and seal a 2-1 aggregate victory, after Emma Hayes’ side had been made to endure the final half-hour with 10 players following the sending-off of Kadeisha Buchanan.

Was a good game to watch , red card was harsh and obviously cost Chelsea the game , Barca moved the ball better and Chelsea missed crucial chances . Womens football has come along way and is very entertaining to watch at this level 👍

Barca need to shoot more. I'm pretty sure most goals in football take a deflection of some sort. If you don't buy a ticket you can't win the lottery, and for that, they miss Jenni, Oshoala, Alexia and Claudia Pina. If Pajor joins as expected, we won't have to wait so long for Aitana to take a dip. As for Chelski, if you spend 180 minutes defending expect cards and penalties.

Excuses excuses, I don’t think that second yellow was a yellow but that wasn’t why Chelsea lost, Chelsea lost because they weren’t clinical enough and quite frankly Chelsea just didn’t make use of their opportunities and shots, if Chelsea were switched on a little more they would have won but Barcelona were the better and more deserving team! I feel like there wasn’t much between the two teams but like in the end Barcelona were the more clinal team and made the better use of opportunities presented to them, well done to both teams! It was an absolute contest and a fabulous match to enjoy! Totally one for the history books! Xxxxxxx

what do u mean the wasn't much between the two teams, Chelsea only had one chance in the 1st half and that was just a stupid back pass by Paredez and the post she talks about was offside. if u come from high and stomp on a players toes like that u very likely to be punished, its why I have no idea what Buchanan was thinking doing that after she just made another stupid foul 3 min b4. Sometimes the reputation of a player precedes her ...Buchanan is not good tackler ...in fact most of her tackling is on the edge of being a foul ,therefore the refs are less likely to give her the benefit of the doubt.

That wasn’t a tackle. They equally went in for the ball and one got there before the other. If she would’ve gotten to the ball first, the other girl could’ve stepped on her foot. That card was a little harsh.

Chelsea Women need to recruit players with pace in several areas of the team. This is not a criticism of the skill exisiting players have but to really challenge against teams such as Barcelona this is vital. Players such as Johanna Kaneryd, Erein Cuthbert, Mayra Ramirez, Sam Kerr(when fit), Ashley Lawrence have that pace and Guru Reiten and Catarina Macario are valuable assets. Millie Bright as a sweeper is still useful in the team. Aerial ability also lacking up front without Sam Kerr. Experienced players such as Fran Kirby are also a plus. My honest opinions although some may see them as harsh? I've supported Chelsea as a Club and I'm very proud of the Women's Team. With Emma Hayes going and fresh ideas coming in from who knows it's a great opportunity to develop the team. COYB 💙💙💙

Barça should have been less afraid to play their vertical and unstoppable game. Too much respect for Chelsea at times, knowing that we are better than them. Chelsea's luck is that Salma makes bad decisions when it comes to scoring easy goals. She's only 20 years old, but she can't miss such easy goals that can cost a semi-final. Another failure of Barca is not playing more for Hansen who is differential. Giraldez won because today they were more competitive and mature and we had justice when we were awarded a penalty and Buchanan was sent off for a double yellow card.
