WOW indeed. With a voice a smooth as double cream, and as warn as hot chocolate, being wielded like a soft shield that cushions all the blows from outside influences, I feel sheltered from any negativity. Like she sings, and sooth away built up tension from a normal day. And she's beautiful to the eye too. A national treasure? Now there's a thought for the Dutch.

This little princess made our mighty Queen cry 👸😭. It was a surprise, but this is a very personal song to Floor. There are videos on YT where she can't sing it without tears. Anyway, a very brave pick from Emma and a surpisingly good performance. ⛄👍

Emma's mother also had a serious illness (which she was cured of) that made the song very emotional for both of them. This song was never recorded by Floor, because she couldn't, because the lyrics had such an impact on her, writing a song for her mother who was very ill in that time. Emma sang thiis song because she could relate her situation with her own mother too!

Well, Floor actually did record it (in 2 versions) with her first band After Forever and she did sing it occasionally in those years, but it was indeed quite rare (you can find a couple of those performances on YT). In January 2020 she started singing it again during her solo tour.

( maybe I'm weird ) To me when she flips her voice it sort of sounds like a teen boy voice. Like in a boy band when there is a solo verse. Don't matter no ways...She sounds great.
