The Voice Kids Netherlands has had some truly wonderful singer's over the years and that's why I always watched it on KZbin. But when I saw Emma's audition in 2021 there was something really angelic and magical in her performances. I was so happy she won the completion, but at the same time sad because I knew like many of the winner's of these shows she would fade from the public eye. I'm so happy to learn she is back and better then ever!! Her performance with Andre Rieu was incredibly emotional and moving for me to hear her angelic voice again. I had tears of pure joy.

I loved how this compilation from The Voice Kids showed her growth over those 8 songs, how tiny & young she looked in the 1st song, but how competitive she was in the 2nd (Battles) even if she looked a bit apprehensive at the start but had the poor kid in the middle giving her a worry look at the end. The other two kids were pretty good, but they sounded like kids & unfortunately for them Emma wanted to win more than them. She is a fighter.

Hello Psi and Bella, I am a woman of 67 years old of the Netherlands. Thank you for all the great things you did for Emma, I loved all of it, your reactions are amazing. Because you like to see more of her I have a suggestion. 2 Months ago she had a concert here in Holland in Harlingen, together with another older singer Phil Bee. There's also an live orchestra. There are 2 versions, one of 4.30 which is much too short, just give an impression. Better look at the one which takes 1.09.29 hour.You will see a happy singing Emmawho is singing several songs you already know but also some new ones. Together with Phil she also sings some songs, one of them is Shallow and also one of Tina Turner I think. It's an evening with great fun and I think you will like it. From the moment Emma got sick and had to go to elementary school with tube feeding, she was bullied by fellow students. There were days when she came home from school crying and therefore also had trouble going to school. She herself said that this has damaged her, made her very insecure and since then she has been less likely to trust people. In an interview, she was asked what song she listened to a lot during that difficult time. Emma's answer, without any doubt: 'Warrior' by Demi Lovato. This song was her support and inspiration. Emma can convey her emotions in this song. Just perfect. (Demi… thank you!)

A search for “Emma Kok drive past” will throw up a couple of amateur videos of Emma and her family celebrating her victory with locals from her town, driving past, waving and blowing their car horns. You realize just how tiny she is for her age (12), and of course, as always, she has her backpack . . .

You can imagine how stressful it must be for the family to have a child with Emma's condition, meal times must have been so difficult. So a shout out to her parents & family for doing a wonderful job especially in giving her a focus away from her condition. Someone commented on another React vid that his daughter took her own life because of a similar condition, I guess suffering from depression. On a lighter note, I found a charming video of her being welcome back to school after winning the Voice Kids. You are correct. Emma's voice is fuller and more soulful. On a technical level she has full control of her vibrato, which the other kids, if they have it at all, are unable to manage. She is also clearly able to reach notes far higher than the others. I say this in response to your statement that they all sound similar. Yes, in the sense that they all, being very young, exhibit child frequency, but Emma's voice is far more distinctive and resonate. She is easy to identify when they are all singing together. I am not being critical here in any way, just kind of expanding on what you said. As for her 'professionalism', she has been coached, no doubt, but at this stage, I think she has watched other performers that she likes many times, and is smart enough to recognize their performance attributes and imitate them. Add to that just an innate, natural emotional intelligence, an 'it' factor that cannot be taught. She is clearly doing what she was born to do, to perform.

Take her Amira and Angelina Jordan all from Norway from young ages and still singing beyond the beyond….and you wonder what was in the water in Norway 17 years ago….all three phenoms. All three choke me up….and perform covers better than the original……

@ OK….within the close proximity of each other…good grief let’s be absolutely technical in all aspects🧐….but my main point being that they are/were all young women almost same ages who have a special voice talent way beyond anything in America….in my opinion.
