As someone watching the show for the first time and am currently on season four, my impression on their “friendship” so far is that Emma is extremely awful to Manny. While Manny isn’t exactly always the nicest friend, most of the time she is constantly supporting or uplifting Emma and genuinely puts in work to make amends. Meanwhile, Emma takes her for granted and throws extremely low blows at Manny and always victim blames her whenever Manny is confining in her. I really felt that Manny should’ve just cut Emma off for good at some points.

What I find even more disgusting was the fact of them being pissed at Emma for simply, but harshly giving Rick a reality check that she had no romantic interest in him and only pitied him. Here’s the thing; do I like Emma as a character? No. Is Emma the blame for Rick reaching his breaking point and bringing a gun to school? Definitely not. Y’all can hate all y’all want. It’s easy to say “she’s terrible” or “jealous” (idk why y’all use jealous, always pitting characters against one another” but she was reality because her stories is what you’d see in the avenger girl. First hard crush over friends, not wanting to admit when you have a problem (and people suffering from anorexia do lash out at those closest to them) it’s not meant to be pretty, reasonings behind going with the bully and picking on someone. She’s still a favorite because it came out genuine. Half of these moments are out of if context.

Ashley and Paige should be have a duo collab video of worst character moments. Emma never acted irrational over minuscule things unlike the rest of the characters. After the shooting she wasn’t the same girl. Everyone seems to forget about that.
