Inspiring and refreshing to see a star rising. I guess people " discover" the gem, and delight to see she set a goal and work every step of the way up, no short cut, just hardwork, seeing her running around, never giving up on a shot( the final shot) is so uplifting. Pray that she make the best use of her talents.

I hope she stays around for a very long time. I would start watching women's tennis more if she continues to play.

I have a feeling that she is not just the next biggest tennis player but the next sporting sensation her sportsmanship is like an angle and she reminds me of some friends I know but I hope she turns out to be the next cr7 or next big name in sports in tennis like Djokovic or Federer

@M Can’t agree there with Ronaldo. You can say maybe he’s arrogant but he does have a lot of humility from what I’ve seen. He likes to inspire others I think, there’s a clip out there where he’s defending this kid on stage speaking another language in front of media and they’re not giving him he best encouragement but Ronaldo got behind him so that’s telling I think of his character.

There nothing wild-card about this card. She temperate and discipline and refined the Love of the LORD ALMIGHY is her guide.

Anyone following tennis below the wta level, would know emma was there waiting to burst onto the scene. She played in the battle of the brits in 2020 against the best of Britain in singles and doubles and you could see , even then that she was a very good player. Wimbledon almost blew this story ever happening by initially not giving her a wild card to Wimbledon. It is a shame the BBC can’t make her games in rd1-4 at Wimbledon be available on KZbin, it would lovely to watch the full journey from Nottingham to Landisville, Chicago to the win at Flushing Meadows.

You don't win an Open event by luck, it takes hard work, and dedication, and application (and talent)
