Please note that I am UK based and therefore use UK crochet terminology: a UK double crochet is equivalent to a US single crochet, and a UK treble crochet is equivalent to a US double crochet.
This is a tutorial for the Wave Stitch, a lovely simple stitch, great for beginners! I'm using a 3.5mm hook and Cascade Heritage, a 4ply yarn, in the shades Snow and Dusky Coral.

Emma, I just recently discovered your channel, and I love your videos. Your work is beautiful, and your tutorials are excellent. I’m from the U.S. but I’ve always thought UK crochet terminology makes more sense! The double/treble seems to refer to how many loops are on the hook before you start pulling the yarn through for the first time. So two loops for a UK double crochet, and three loops for a UK treble crochet. At least that’s how I think of it. 😊

I like this pattern very much, easy enough for my skill level,i was wondering what can a regular border be applied to this even with the wavy top and bottom?

You’d need to even off by working a half row of a pattern repeat to fill in the gaps. Hope that makes sense 🥰

I live in the US. What is the yarn you are using cotton/nylon combo ?

Cascade Heritage is a fingering weight wool blend 75% Merino Wool 25% Nylon. It is very easy to find here in the US. 😊 Hope this helps
