I’ve been using craft paper to wrap Christmas gifts for the last few years and love how natural and classy it looks, BUT I had no idea you could get it in different colours, how did I miss this!!😮 Looove the tips of adding in the oranges, herbs and spruce for decoration, I bet they smell amazing, definitely going to give this a go! I love these ideas! My gifts will be sent out of town but for the locals I can totally do this! I'm going to share this with my brother as his wife did a nature theme for their wedding that they could put much of the decorations back into the woods after the reception!

Loved this video! Brought back such memories. My son and I used to do this together. He was quite little, so not nearly as elegant as yours, Emma!! Lots of red, green, blue and white - snow flakes, snowmen, reindeer, Christmas trees, stockings and candy canes! But we had so much fun doing them, and people were always so chuffed to receive them. We used to write ‘Recyclable’, and sign both our names on each gift. Now I wish I’d kept a few sheets! Wishing you, Simon and the doggos a very fun and happy pre-holiday season! ❤️

This is such a great idea, love being eco-friendly. I make my own clothe gift bags and re-use them. But the crafting paper is great because I don’t need to wait to have my gift open to collect the bags, can just leave it with the recipient. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Absolutely wonderful and I am certainly going to try it, thank you. One thing however, I think your “Spruce” is actually a Yew, only important because Yew is poisonous, or the berries are but I don’t know about the leaves. My mum always told us to wash well after playing near the yew tree.

I either do kraft paper (big gifts) or canvas bag (small to medium gifts). Weirdly handmade drawstring canvas bags almost cost the same as store bought gift bags here in my country. Drawstring bags are so useful for trinkets and I love seeing my family/friends reuse theirs

I reuse everything from years before leftovers, ribbons from cool bags from stores, old magazines, tin containers (from cookies) dryed flowers, etc.. Even textiles,.. I havent bought new in years✌🏻🍁 Your killing it with your content Emma! Seriously AMAZING work💯✌🏻🍁 I wanne ad that i work in theme: have i lots of pink & green stuff then it will be that, etc.... Also once i am thru my leftover stash i will go the naturel why , like your doing here

Love the orange slices and foliage, especially if the fruit slices keep food a few years. But for the wrapping I've been switching gradually to fabric and recycling nice scarves from charity shops to use year after year

We actually don’t do Christmas Cards. We don’t do many presents either these days and try and encourage the adults in our family to not do gifts and just focus on the kids but I like making gifts for those in the family that can’t get over the ‘no gifts’ idea 🙈

We have Christmas tree decorations which are a few years old that we use every year so I’m afraid I have no need to make any more but there are loads of videos out there with DIY decs so I’m sure someone else can give you some great ideas to do with your kids ❤️
