There is nothing better then lying in the bed on sunday mornings and watch your newest video. I‘m loving it🥰 As always - very nice pieces. I totally understand your concerns re the Uniqlo trousers. I love Uniqlo and I often do have the same problem with their leg length. I like the short look of the trousers with the sandals but not with the chunky espadrilles, however, when I think about me, I wouldn‘t wear it as much to keep it. I like Ramie, it’s a fiber I haven’t seen much since the 70s-80s, when it used to be more common. Its properties are similar to rayon, with great breathability.

Thank you for the wonderful ideas, many of which I plan to incorporate into my wardrobe. However, I don't shop H&M or Zara or any of those brands because of their repeated lack of ethics and sustainability, which has been well-documented even if they're trying to cover it up with smart PR. If I find them secondhand, great, because I'm freeing them from a landfill but I'd never give them a dollar of my hard-earned money.

Definitely longer length on the Uniqlo trousers Emma. Imo, ankle length trousers should only be worn if skinny or narrower. The wider ankle length trousers look clown-ish. Thanks for the video 😊

Love the video and the pieces Emma. I've ordered the black H&M sandals which I really like - I've ordered size 9 as I'm 8.5 usually but can't get these half sizes very easily. After reading your info am wondering whether I should have tried the 8 but my main worry is the ankle strap as often these come up short so I decided to go for the larger size. After watching your videos I get a lot of fresh ideas 😊. the light blue Arket blazer that first I ignored on the website it looks stunning and it will be definitely part of my next order! About the Uniqlo trousers: yes I think that they are too short especially if you wear them with the chunky espadrilles. I like short model trousers but when they are more puffy and these look too short. Do not misunderstand me: you look gorgeous but I prefer that look with longer trousers. About the chunky espadrilles: I used to have Superga in the same style and I loved them when I was young, with jeans shorts and a crispy linnen shirt. Thanks again and enjoy your day ❤

Ramie is a lovely fibre. I bought a long, cream ramie shirt from Liberty in about 1994 and am still wearing it. I dyed it green a couple of years back and will dye it navy soon.

I love the MS oatmeal dress but I need it in size 8 short which has been out of stock for a while. In my experience if I am undecided about an item, I probably wouldnt wear it so I would return the Uniqlo trousers :)

Hi Emma. I loved the summer dresses- I wear them a lot in the Greek climate and the looser the fitting, the better! I tend to live in my Birkenstocks sandals as well as my dad sandals which I bought from H&M about 3 years ago. You have the perfect figure and shorts look great on you. I prefer the longer length Bermuda style for myself but am too old and wobbly to wear them in town !😂

Lovely pieces, M&S seem to have some really fab things this year. Love the tailored linen shorts and waistcoat. The green dress is nice, that colour always goes well with a tan. I think the trousers depends on your shoe choice and how you want to wear them but they look great 👍🏻

Return the drapey linen trousers is my advice, the length is neither 'ankle-length' nor long enough to cover top of shoe. Longer would surely be more flattering being quite wide around the hem. Thank you for all your videos.

I don't know if you can find Oysho in the UK, but they release amazing linen items every year. It's a brand in the Zara and Stradivarius group and the quality is definitely higher with the Zara price point. They also create lovely swimwear ❤

The only item I wasn’t so keen on in today’s video were the Uniqlo trousers which weren’t long enough to cover your shoes but not the flattering cropped length either. I haven't used it with the cross at the front and I probably personally wouldn't wear it the other way round but if it is something you were interested in, I would recommend going into a store (if you have one close by) and giving it a go ❤️

I personally like a longer leg length that I can roll up, if I want it cropped, but the Uniqlo trousers look great on you either way. I just like having the option to wear everything longer, depending on the weather and the shoes I choose. PS: Now seeing it on you, I totally regret not getting that first H&M dress when I saw it online a while back. I thought it would be too sheer for me, but it looks just lovely on you.

It was one of things I knew was going to sell out even though it had the higher price tag. It’s definitely sheer for every day use but for at home or a vacation setting it’s a winner 🙌🏼 I totally know what you mean about the trousers. I like them this length but I do prefer options and being able to wear both longer and shorter is preferred. I may keep them for now and order the longer length online and then see which I prefer.

Always love your style. While I also love that you talk about the fabric and sustainability, I notice many items are from stores that, unfortunately, do not have ethical practices. I have always been an advocate for the high street brands and probably always will be, as you can get some great pieces from there. My message is always to consider what is being purchased, look for higher quality/durable fabrics and ensure what you purchase meets your needs so that it is worn, and then ensure you look after it so that it lasts and isn't used just the once and then thrown away. I have had many "affordable" pieces from high street brands that have outlasted more expensive pieces from "higher end" brands. So it isn't about buying more expensive pieces (although I do shop from a range of brands with different price points) but being more aware of purchases and ensuring they are cared for properly in order to make them last 👍

I'm glad you support high Street fashion and give us options and sustainable options where possible. I find shops such as ms within my price range for good clothes that last. And its not for us to say where anybody wants to buy there clothes we are all from different backgrounds and many different income brackets. Really looking forward to your summer switchover video.
