The storyteller folds her slender hands - both pairs - and speaks. “It happened an age ago. Out of this chaos came war. Open, bitter war, pitting blood against blood and kin against kin. The conflict broke a vast and prosperous empire into brittle fragments. No single side could find enough purchase to maintain a decisive victory, even when fueled by the power of a Great Rune.
The battle of General Radahn against Malenia the Severed illustrated that neither strength nor skill alone would be enough to take control of the entirety of the lands Marika had united. And so, the Lands Between are no longer gripped by open war, but caught in an uneasy stalemate that seems impossible to resolve. “Unless of course,” the storyteller says, a coy smile on both her lips, “thou shouldst take the crown?”

I don't understand why the videos made by this dude are popular and why people are reacting to it. Does it not give you a headache?? It's clearly absurdly over edited nonsense, that only infants can find interesting because of the flashing lights and constantly moving and changing clips. To a normal person this looks as if an insane person got control over a editing program.

As someone with ADHD, I can confirm that Max0r's videos perfectly encapsulate what it's like to have it. They're some of the only videos that I can manage to actually sit all the way through without feeling the need to do other things in the background.

Loving it since the Bloodborne video, if you want to get into this rabbit hole, Sseth Tzeentach who voiced the librarian also makes videos less chaotic less edited but the script is so good and can make games look very interesting even though some of them (at least from his first videos) are very old, also Uberdanger who doesn't upload as much but it has pretty good videos too. Keep it going

So, when are you doing part 2 (yes there is one if you didn't know, though no part 3 as of yet)? 😀 Also, the part that comes up at 14:01? Thats all his editing layers. Max0r said in an interview that he really did leave the health debuff in for his entire first game, the places you don't see it are recorded on subsequent play throughs. Lotta history behind this stuff, but the voice actors he brings in are phenomenal for their bit lines.

Nah, for my journey, I immediately went East (because I'd seen some KZbinrs fight Margit in the beta), found the dragon, ran away, and ended up in Caelid for 7 of the first 8 hours of my first day playing. I hadn't even spoken to Melina yet. 🙃

Though I haven't played Elden Ring in a bit, I'm trying to get to Redmane Castle prior to the Radahn festival but can't find it, I heeded the warnings of Woolie and Pat of Castle Superbeast to not try and play the fuck around and find out game with the lobsters simply because they run faster than your horse. To fight them is to embrace the choice of death even if you run. Also I somehow got all the way to Raya Lucaria and didn't see the dead guy with the map at the door before going to Stormveil. Fought the projectile pit sweat cricket people in Caelis, and even went through Castle mourne. I had literally only killed Godrick at this point. Ironically I killed Margit first try because I didn't go directly to him and won in a double KO that totally counted. But Godrick took me like twenty tries. So my clout for beating Margit is outweighed by how bad Godrick beat me according to the community.
