i love east scarp!! im so glad youre playing sword and sorcery - i cant play a stardew run without mateo anymore! i know you said you werent too interested in adding more npcs, but i think sen (lurking in the dark) would be a great addition to this playthrough!! he lives in the caves below the scarp :-)

If anyone is wondering the house at 9:00 is the home of Sterling, Henry, and Mia from Always Raining in the Valley. Which is my personal favorite East Scarp mod, right now only Sterling is the only romancable npc but the other two are planned. It touches on a few heavy topics so it isn't for everyone, but if you wanna help someone start their healing journey I defenetly recommend it

Mod recommendations, if you want to expand more on East Scarp you can try (Lurking in the Dark - Eli and Dylan - Creative Differences - Nora The Herpetologist - Bear Family, which is the latest released add-on to ES ). Mods specific to ES mods (Seasonal Cute Characters for East Scarp, here you can find more mod ideas) My favorite mods but I am not sure if they fit this run (Walk of Life, and its sister mods - Informant The Tooltip Labels, usually I use it along side UI Info Suite 2 but without the latter's barrel tooltips - Cornucopia mods - Wildflour's Atelier Goods - Love of Cooking - Button's Extra Books) I hope you like those options 😁

Mateo is they/them btw😊 but you can marry them, when you get to 10 hearts and get the event you have to chose romantic not platonic. You can also turn off them flirting with Aideen in the config (Options- Mod options - East Scarp NPCs- RivalHearts: AideenMateo) I had to turn it off cause I hated seeing it lol

​@TwilightGaming-xl4sx Sword and sorcery characters don't really work with that because they don't have the normal way to romance them. In the Discord we are always warned away from poly mods (the custom proposal events may break and Hector's post-marriage schedule will break) I personally don't know what would happen if you married Mateo first and then the others (or even get the mod after you married Mateo) and never marries other SnS characters. Just be careful

I love Mateo they are so adorable. While sword and sorcery doesn’t have nyapu art yet. There is nyapu art for solomon, Mateo and Hector and they all look so adorable with it

Mod recommendation would be Quaint Living - Flower Garden 2 since it’s been updated to the lasted version and the Quaint Living - Artisan Goods I’m playing with both of those mods and they are amazing so many flowers and good for your current farm for a flower garden

Eli and Dylan is NPC mod for East Scrap and also has crossover options for Sword and Sorcery. Magic wise, there is magic system that is unlocked later. Not going too much into it to avoid spoilers.

If you want a magical east scarp mod, I recommend Lurking in the Dark, which adds the NPC Sen, a sweet shadow creature.

I would suggest Sen. I love Lurking in the Dark. I also love Nora as well. Maybe something to add forage or expend the Dwarf? He is sort of fantasy like.

I just started playing this mod too on my witchy swamp farm. I also added the Stardew Druid mod and alchemistry. Mango plays has a great magic based list of mods. I love that all the extra NPC mods to East scarp feel really integrated.

Also the item bag mod is so great and there’s one bag that you can set to automatically gather everything that you need for the community center so you don’t accidentally sell anything

Absolutely agree with the Alchemistry suggestions, lots of lovely new forage and fun crafting things. I think Stardew Druid may distract too much from Sword and Sorcery

Would highly recommend the Eli and Dylan mod for ES! It's a newer mod, and the writing is soooo good! There's also an option in the S&S mod to add content with those characters into it too. I would also recommend Always Raining in the Valley because I love Sterling and it adds a lot to ES if you haven't played it yet before

You could add the Alchemistry mod. It is basically a "magic" mod, there are a few new fish... but there is also more forage, recipes, and even berries. I thought it would be great for this play through.

@emmalution It adds 8 new fish... But it also has a ton of extra content. A new NPC, and quests. Along with new recipes and crops. I am currently playing this mod and it is a ton of fun. It gives Alchemist vibes.

I love seeing a playthrough with a mod I haven't heard of before! Really looking forward to seeing how this goes. I think any mods that involve more potions or magical aspects would be cool to add. Especially if you can craft them yourselves. I feel like it's not really DND unless you can buy or make something that helps you by magical means on your journey. Even additional trinkets might be cool.

One mod recommendation I never play without now is Resource Storage - it just feels so useful! And if you're ever looking for more NPCs or a further way to expand, Durin's Rest is a fascinating and underrated expansion and fits into the more Fantasy theme!

Someone also suggested Lurking in the Dark but you should add Diamond in the Rough. It adds Sen from Lurking in the dark but many other characters and a NPC thats a giant void snail!!

The BPC map shows character's at your farm as a weird "default" thing. If the NPC is in a smaller map (in a house for example) that isn't registered on the map for whatever reason it shows them at your farmhouse. For example, if Lexi is "at your farm", she's really in her sea cave. I think its a bug but not sure

Mateo’s pronouns are they/them. Also I would highly recommend downloading more ES NPCs as they do offer a lot of interwoven dialogue as the stories progress. I would also highly recommend Eli & Dylan.

the sword and sorcery mod sounds very interesting ! and bonus for me, I've never played east carp, so it's two in one :D yeah, I'll +1 the alchemistry mod for a witchery ambience. weirdly, I was going to say one of wildflour's mod, I thought there was at least one with a witchy kind of vibe/items, if you didn't want the added quests and stuff from alchemistry, but I can't seem to find one? Either I'm dreaming or it has been removed from nexus. also, it's just for the look, but I absolutely love Idalda's Witchy Scarecrows retextures, they're in every single of my saves now Also possibly a witch broom retexture for the horse could be fun given the number of npcs, also possibly "part of the community", for the passive friendship I also just found out that there's a mod to replace canon music by stardew and chill by dj cutman and coffee date!!

Mod idea, the tractor mod that let you chop down wood, til ground, plant seeds and harvest your vegetables, if you ever going to own the huge farm that tractor would help you amazingly

Alchemistry is very fun! But it is realistic and uses bird skulls, animal hooves, and insects that can be foraged as ingredients. I love it though.

@@sweettaterfries I have a folder for each mod pack then the ones I'm *not* using I put a ".", So when I'm not using the Archipelago modpack I put ". Archipelago" as the folder name so that smapi doesn't see it! Hope that makes sense!
