I admit that I clicked on your videos expecting to see the ignorant American abroad. I was impressed when you then flipped the script by poking fun at yourself, instead. You're showing yourself to be smarter and more self-aware than people might expect from that stereotype. Even as you get lost on buses and mess up a few Polish phrases, you also demonstrate more courage and honesty in your journey than most people would in your situation, even those who may consider themselves sophisticated. The joke’s on them. Great videos, and enjoy Poland!

As a Silesian by origin I would suggest Legnica instead of Warsaw although it's only 100K town (still larger than big names as Arles, Avignon) Legnica's place is in the western fringe of Poland but right in the centre of Europe, roughly half way between Belgrade and Copenhagen or also half way from Stockholm to Rome, the same, roughly half way from Lwów to Cologne.

Can you hear the master? Stone against their velvet fur Girls who travel the metro Stroking white mice they carry in their pockets Lost in a day dream Daydreaming to be loved by someone Hurtling myself down into the metro A train of Latin and African percussion Turns my day into night The rhythm of life The constant arguments between lovers He wants to listen to the news She wants to listen to the music

Another day, another empty bottle... :) And it doesn't matter where you are, you always need to be careful with other people. For me it's still quite hard to trust the other person, even if I know her/him for a while. After my 34 years on this earth I prefer to trust less than more. Just for better feeling in the future. Of course there is nothing wrong with trusting to the other person, but this person also should know this thin line, that after crossing it there won't be any return.

@Maurycy Prosiak No jest kilka znaczeń, ale myślę, że zrozumiały: big girl 1. noun A female who is no longer a baby or very young child, depending on how old the speaker is. Mommy says I'm a big girl now, since I pee in the potty. I'm a big girl now, Mom. Can't I at least stay out till 10? 2. noun A female who is overweight or obese. Can be derogatory depending on how it is used. A: "Do you honestly think a big girl like her could fit into this dress?" B: "Wow, rude!" What can I say, I think big girls are very attractive. Curves get me every time. 3. noun A female who is especially tall. Can be derogatory depending on how it is used. A: "Yikes, she's a big girl." B: "You're just jealous, short-stuff." A: "See that big girl over there? She's gorgeous!" B: "You always do like it when a girl towers over you." 4. noun A derogatory phrase used in jest to insult a man who other men believe is behaving in a weak or effeminate manner. Primarily heard in UK, Australia. "Quit being such a big girl walking around with your hair in a bun like that," yelled the old man to the young hipster. 5. adjective Describing a fictional item, the use or wearing of which would give one the ability to behave as a mature adult woman should. Usually used pejoratively to imply that one is not behaving in such a way. The phrase is typically hyphenated and used before a noun. Come on, it's time to put on your big-girl pants and ask the boss for a raise. I know you're not a morning person, but put on your big-girl panties and go to work.
