It would be interesting to have a channel like that with different well known groups and artists. Dont get me wrong I love the rhythm sections playing but the appeal of tiny desk to me is hearing different artists and their group. Such as KNKX Radio and what they did by bringing arturo’s group and roy’s.

Majestic! Giveton Gelin - wow! He spoke so highly of Freddie Hubbard. I love the way you have arranged this, and, everything about this; you groove!

This is the joyous selection by which I discovered Emmett Cohen and his outstanding weekly sessions, 'Live From Emmett's Place.' I must've passed this post by a couple of times, underestimating this unassuming-looking group of guys, then one day I said, "Alriiiight, let's see what they got." Was I surprised! And joyous is the right adjective for this performance - joy is the driving energy behind it and is written all over their happy faces throughout. From the lyrics, it turns out to be a hymn, and I've been a convert ever since!
