Its so great seeing young people like you enter the field too Emma.. In Ireland it is considered a second career but slowly more young people (20s and 30s) are starting to see the opportunities in this profession. Despite our age, we have so much to give our clients and colleagues I bloody love my job 💫

As someone from the UK it was really interesting to see how your work day is scheduled. Not only that but your work day as someone in mental health. Here our therapists/counsellors work Monday-Friday 8-5 and not on weekends. What’s it like for you to work short staggered days instead of set long consecutive days? Also, what’s it like for patients who get that conversation with a counsellor on a weekend? Seeing you accomplish all this is truly inspirational Emma ❤️
@stephanielow25374 жыл бұрын
I am SO HAPPY I found this booktuber because I, too, am a mental health counseling student and a bookworm 🥰 I finished my internship already, but those days were SO long! Emma makes it look easy breezy. Love you girl, keep rockin it!

Why do Emma's vlogs always make me so happy? Also it is so interesting to hear you talk about your internship because i am doing something you could probably translate as a one year internship at a psych hospital and i am really enjoying my work there! I am more involved in the work that the nursing staff does and don't get talk to our therapist too often, so i loved hearimg more from that perspective. But even the mundane days were so fun to see! You could efinitely start vlogging weekly and i would watch every single one 🖤
