i like how you used every day life to show us your E-bike in action.

I really like your videos! I just bought this e-bike and I can't wait until the snow melts :) I loved when you said, "get the cars off the fucking road." Amen. I don't drive due to bad eyesight and very bad anxiety, so this video was really reassuring.
@redrobotmonkey10 ай бұрын
The way this guy was riding his ebike gave me anxiety. An ebike should not be on the left lane like that. There were certain parts of the video where he is looking down and not even looking at the road ahead. Dangerous riders make cars dangerous.

It's worth remembering it as by no means pollution free, it's just that the pollution is somewhere else (where the batteries and the electricity are produces). In fact an electric vehicle is one of the most polluting vehicles you can use. Don't get me wrong, I use electric vehicles too, but not because they are more environmentally friendly or economical, because they aren't, but because they are more convenient.

You should get an e bike, they have gears so it helps go up hills like this one.
@jonneet21266 жыл бұрын
Nice video! How much for the lithium battery that you put in? I think you need a set of mirrors to watch for cars approaching from behind. Also, you could have tied your sub onto the hook right in front of you. That hook is used on just about any scooters out there, and is for holding reusable grocery bags. Also, you say it has drum brakes? Usually if you have that, you can pull the wheel of the noise making brakes, and take some sandpaper and scuff the shoes. Assemble and try it again.

Do you use an electric scooter? I dislike driving due to the stress it causes, as well as safety issues and it's HORRIBLE for the environment. Thanks for your time, Frank
@Crashed1319635 жыл бұрын
If it had the 500w rather than 350w the hills would be un-noticeable. But 20-25 klm uphill is still faster than a person peddling. I would have put the sub in the front carries of get a small pack sack.

Wonder if you can answer me a q? Mate. Is there a constant power. +- feed cables on that bikes wiring loom that could power a usb or connect a gps tracking? Thanks man. Ride safe.

Sell the other vehicles and get a bigger house :-) (kidding) Good video though. I'm thinking about buying that exact model, and now I have a sense of its zippiness ! Pictures that I've seen it make it look a bit small though. How comfy would a 6-ft guy feel on it ?

So, it seems the Emmo Urban S and the GigiaByke GROOVE are the same electric scooter from all accounts? I've checked both out and I can't see any differences other than cosmetic changes in lights and the maker's name-tag on each. Does the Emmo have the silicone battery as well or does it use the Lithium type battery? I'm planning to purchase the GigaByke GROOVE but I'm not happy with the silicone battery idea and would prefer the much lighter and more miles per Lithium battery. Great videos my friend.
@Pinesal7 жыл бұрын
I bought the Gigabyke and the batteries are definity a let down. I am upgrading it to lithium next week.

Thanks for the video! Man your streets are bad! Almost as bad as Montreal's...Lol! The bike seems to be jostled quite a bit by bumps in the road...have you ever fallen off?
@TwoWheelWarrior7 жыл бұрын
Plus the bike makes lots of noise. That is the fenders rattling. I took those off since I don't ride it in the rain. Might get caught in it. The bike is much quieter now. It's got suspension and I use it. I ride over and through stuff that most ebikers would slow down or avoid. Haven't crashed yet. Almost a couple times but due to gravel in the corners. I made this video on June 2 last year. At 2:13 you can see all the gravel still left from the winter. City still hadn't cleaned it up. Yeah our roads are bad. That is the result of our harsh winters. Gets harsh in Montreal too I'm sure....
@renzoriga61367 жыл бұрын
LivingLifeElectric The tongue and groove design flaw and the squeaky brakes give me some pause (I'm thinking of buying one) but was wondering if you could comment on the range...love your vids!
@TwoWheelWarrior7 жыл бұрын
You mean on the battery vs the battery tray? Yeah that pissed me off but it's not that big a deal. I just lined the bottom of the battery tray with a couple bucks worth of rubbery material and it's quiet and shock absorbing. Your unit may not even have that issue. Check it before you take delivery. If I get another escooter I'm gonna give it a full inspection before I take delivery. When you get it home check the tightness of all nuts and bolts. The longest single ride I've done with it is 35kms before charging the battery again. It had more than half the battery charge left according to the gauge. With the 20ah lithium you're supposed to get about 70kms. Honestly I'll never come close to using even half the range before I recharge it. I'd rather the bike use more battery juice to accelerate quicker from a stop. It has really soft initial acceleration. But after that it moves along nicely. I eventually sprayed disc brake cleaner into the drum brakes and they stopped squealing. Quick summary of the bike. Its lightweight compared to most especially with the lithium battery. So it's easy to move it around and maneuver it. While riding it or moving it around in a garage etc. Even easier if you take out the battery first. It's best suited to flat to rolling terrain. Doesn't climb steep hills well. It's small and compact compared to most escooters. It's very narrow so you ride it with your feet on the pedals like a bicycle. The middle platform is too narrow to put your feet on. Probably better suited to a lighter weight rider. I'm around 160lbs. It's fun to ride and chuck into corners under power. I even jump curbs and more with it and suspension doesn't seem to have any issues soaking it up. The battery is super easy to take out and put back in. Don't know what else to add. I really should do a short review video.
@davidcollins18536 жыл бұрын
This was encouraging. The streets and hills here are just as bad. I ride a 50cc gas powered scooter. I know it uses gas, but Insurance, and tag are low, and it uses much less gas than a car. I think they have come a long way with electric, but room for improvement, re: brakes. Lol! Thanks for the great vid.

@TwoWheelWarrior8 жыл бұрын
It is a street legal e-bike. In Canada it is limited to 32 kph. My gps says it goes a little bit faster than that most of the time on flat ground. I weight 160lbs. The furthest I have ridden in a single ride was 30 kilometers. Charge gauge said it still had more than half of the charge remaining. I have the 48v/20ah Lithium battery.

Nice bike but saying something like they need to get cars off the road is just ignorant. Why would we need roads if there were no cars? Just a thought for you.
@CrazyCyclingVlogger8 жыл бұрын
roads existed before cars. You need to read this book. Might reduce your own ignorance. www.roadswerenotbuiltforcars.com/about/
@BBBYpsi8 жыл бұрын
+CrazyCyclingVlogger guess what without motorized vehicles on the road like trucks you wouldn't have parts for any of those bikes you wouldn't have toilet paper you wouldn't have food nothing think about that
@InsanitiesBrother7 жыл бұрын
+BBBYpsi a truck carrying cargo can be replaced by a train which is more efficient. there is no reason one person needs a car to commute to work everyday or to attend a leisure activity, a motorbike would be more efficient. obviously cars are needed but only because people like you refuse to admit there are better alternatives.
@BBBYpsi7 жыл бұрын
You still have to unload the train & load stuff onto a truck to deliver to warehouse. Also if on train going across country will take to long like 3 weeks meat products will go bad produce...... They have tried trains. I am in the industry trucking. A train is actually less efficient.
@InsanitiesBrother7 жыл бұрын
It is less efficient because of the infrastructure set up right now. Making tracks/trains to take freight is more efficient in terms of long distance, obviously from warehouse to shop a truck is needed. But if the shops where set up initially near the trains then people could just commute to said trains. Now cars and stuff are needed still but not as much as they are. If trains were developed and pushed as much as cars they would be more efficient. A train could take easily pull 3000 tons of meat in refrigerated carts kept on by overhead wires. These trains could stop at huge warehouses that would replace smaller shops like Tesco.

Hey, I just got the urban s 2 (site doesn’t list the s2...weird 🤷♂️). Anywho, I noticed that the pickup and max speed is reduced by about 25-35% after about 10-15km. Have you noticed something similar? I have the lead acid battery and wondering if that could be the issue. Asking you because I don’t trust the people who sold it to me
@Crashed1319635 жыл бұрын
Get a Lithium LiFePO4 stay away from lead acid. To heavy and not as much range. not cheap though $650 Amazon Canada for one but it's also 20AH not 10 AH so the range increases even more. My heavy 100 kg Vespa look alike gets 30 klm easily on full power , so this bike should get 50-60 klm.
